The Largest Movement of the Next Decade
You might think that WWIII (that won't happen) would be the biggest thing. Or all the civil wars that happen all over the world. Or the beakup of The US. Or the aliens coming to visit. Or the release/coming out of all kinds of documents about who did what; 9-11, JFK, Jesus & the Bible, made up history, made up science… and so much more.
You might think that the coming explosion in technology would be have a significant impact. You know, flying cars, real AI, Zero-point technology… all really miraculous, however there is a bigger movement.
The movement will be people moving to be with their "family", their tribe.
People are going to find that this is the most important thing they ever did. For safety, for survival, for mutual support, for world peace.

Restrictions on where are greatly removed
People used to live next to rivers or lakes because water is the most important need for life.
Then rivers came to be lifelines of trade.
And cities formed along the rivers, and at cross points on roads.
Then people left the farms and moved to the cities for jobs, and then the cities became known for their night life. And even as the automobile came to be, most cities are where the roads meet the rivers, and now, where there is electricity, and grocery stores.
But, Amazonium is showing that we no longer need stores for most of the goods we want.
And soon, grocery stores won't have groceries, so what use are they. Especially when you grow your own food.
On the other hand, we will be able to create electricity to power a small community anywhere. We will have flying cars and automated delivery, so living anywhere will not be worse than anywhere else. And we will have internet anywhere on the planet.
So, we will decide where our "family" will live based on the suitability of the land to support our "family"s life, and not how close it is to river that will overflow, nor roads that will be degrading, nor electricity that we make ourselves.

9-5 is gone, working with your new "family"
Things really change in the working world. Already many people work from home. This is a glimpse of what is to come, however, the corporations that we sell our souls to, today, will be gone soon.
Instead of giant corporations, most of our production will be done in a home/garage fashion with things like 3D printers.
So, in the future, the "family" will build a thing for trade/barter. Like, one family may be know for pottery, plates and such. Another will be a supplier of oranges. We will have ways of building appliance pieces, and assembly will be distributed too.
The people will be 50% farmers, and 50% something else. And the need for corporations, and their 9-5 grind, will be gone.

It's all benefits, except you need to give up your idea of "the night life"
After you find your "family" you will find the kind of connections most people only dream of today (in their tiny boxes where they barely know their neighbors).
We will have that small community closeness, as well as these people will be those you chose to intertwine your life with.
Our lives might be filled with (board) game night, or other things of mass, physical, getting together with your friends.
The problem is we will have to give up that "night life". There will be no going out to clubs, and getting tipsy (or drunk) and not having all of your family know what you were doing, and with whom. There also won't be the opera, or plays, or coffee shops. But those things have really been dead for a while. And yes, we will have to give up restaurants as well.

Many people will try to hold onto the suburban dream. Having two cars and a picket fence, while the cities fall apart around them. Job loss will make things worse, which will make people try harder, or just give up trying.
But, what people need to give up is their attachment to the dream of the city. The dream that never existed.
The saddest thing will be those who mortgaged their lives just before the crashes in the housing market.
I know that now is the beginning of the "Great Migration", but i do not really know how fast it will happen. One decade? Two decades? But i know that it will be one of the most important thing for humanity's future.
And, as the universe usually does, it will nudge people towards getting together with like minded people. So, listen to those nudges. Now that you know a big piece of the future, move when you hear the calling.
Those who do not choose, will choose those who are nearest to them, and huddle together for safety. Becoming a "family" out of desperation.
So, disconnect yourself from how life is being lived now. And be ready to move.
