Battery Powered Electric Vehicles are Not the Future, But What Is?
California is pushing for electric vehicles. Their time table is insane. There isn't enough lithium being mined. There isn't enough power generation. There isn't enough power distribution. There isn't enough coal/oil distribution to handle the increased load. There is no way that California is going to have everyone driving an EV by the deadline.
However, we may have flying cars by that time.
Even really progressive politicians are never leading innovation.
We just don't have enough power in the system
Things are really strange in the electric companies. You hear about the mandates that the electric companies have so much percentage of renewable energy, but, in San Diego, SDG&E (San Diego Graft & Extortion) they have stopped paying people who produce extra power with their solar panels. They have ceased, with their already bad "net metering", and now, if you make too much energy, they just say thanks, and you are SOL. (actually they don't say thanks, they say we could unplug your solar any time we want)
If you look into solar panels, in most residential installs, you barely break even over 20 years. Just in time for your system to start declining. Soooo, how do those large solar farms make enough money to set themselves up? They only way i know is from govern-cement subsidies.
All of this is really strange when we have better ways of making power from wave, geothermal or magnet motors. These are ignored, quite potently, by the electric companies.
But, what happens if free-energy devices are installed secretly all over power grid?
New forms of power will be invented
Wave energy - Make a very large paddle-wheel put it in the ocean near the beach, and you have power 24/7. They could be built all up and down the coasts, powering most of the cities that claim they want clean energy.
Geothermal energy - When you stop trying to figure out how to boil water, and use a lower boiling point refrigerant, you can easily drill a well that will provide electricity for a small community for just about forever.
Real-Solar energy - There are other ways to make electricity from a bunch of panels sitting in the sun. One way is to use the above refrigerant, along with heat collectors. You don't need parabolic mirrors, or such, because you just need to get to 150°. And that is easy in any place that is sunny.
Magnet motors - Motors that spin continuously, powered by permanent magnets. Yes these do exist, and they work, just not enough torque to be useful yet. But, some person is going to have a flash of insight, and then, these things will be everywhere, powering all of our portable devices.
So, electric cars may be in the future, just not powered by batteries.
That is, of course, if we don't get flying cars first.
Massless objects
This is not anti-gravity, these things just float in the air, like a brick doesn't.
One people work out that it is just a large capacitor, and that you just need to charge it to high voltages, then you are really close to flying cars.
First we will probably make "fork lifts" that just float the package up to the proper level. And then, once we get that, then the inane builder guys, will get ahold of some and start making flying cars. (that will be as dangerous as it is fun)
Everything changes from this point forward. Especially science.
We find out that making flying saucers really isn't that hard. (and there is stuff that we don't know, that will really bite us when we try to take one of these "flying saucers" into space.
The Galactic Internet
This one is going to be fun. Imagine inventing radios, and finding out everyone else is talking over radio waves.
Well, this is sorta like that, but all those races out there are using this to communicate, in real time, all over the galaxy.
Once we accept that the aether exists, and then actually start working with it and seeing what it does, this little gem shows up. And experimenters will stumble onto the signal, and wonder what they have found. AI and linguistics help us to start deciphering it, and little while later, we are talking to all those races out there.
Before then, this will make a world-wide internet. You just need to be on earth, and you can internet access. No more will internet providers and the govern-cement agencies keep you from talking to anyone else.
This is really as simple as knocking against the wall. We will wonder why we never figured it out before.
So many fun and useful inventions are coming. I already see many people working on these things. It is only a matter of time. And govern-cement is falling apart, losing control, just when T.H.E.Y. would want to crack down on these technologies.
Once they are really out of the bag, the world changes.
Just knowing that the Luminiferous Aether exists, means people start working with it. And that destroys most of Modern Materialistic Science. And opens up a whole other realm.
