A Very Important Question To Resolve Before You Need To
As the rule of law breaks down.
As people are being arrested and held as political prisoners.
As we see more draconian laws passed.
As healthy people are being forced to stay in their homes.
As police are running black building operations.
As a police state is being erected around us.
As in Gulag Archipelago, Solzhenitsyn opined, what if instead of cooperating with the police, that instead the people stood behind doors with fire pokers, and whatever manner of clubs, and so the police would think twice about trying to take someone as a political prisoner. (not an accurate translation)
We afford the police a special place, where we allow them to break the law, because they are protecting us from the bad guys. But what should we do when they are worse than the bad guys?
What should we do when they are out to kill us, or worse, put us in cages and make us slaves?
The Good Police Officer Myth
The usual story is, "it's just a few bad apples", but is it? The actual ancient wisdom is "one bad apple can spoil the whole barrel".
And, that is what we have.
Today we are hiring known bullies to be police officers. Psychopaths, hiring them too. We make sure to avoid anyone with too high of an IQ. We avoid anyone who may be "too soft on crime". And so, the barrel is rotten from the beginning.
Any good person left is faced with tyrannizing the populace, or lose their job.
There are quotas, but, not officially, where you have to write so many tickets per month and arrest a certain number of people. Most of these people weren't doing anything most others weren't doing. They were just randomly pulled out and given a ticket, or taken down to the station to be interrogated for hours, until they confess to something. Can you be a good police officer, if you are doing these things?
Police officers are stealing more with asset forfeiture, then all the reported thefts. So, the police are the largest criminals in America.
To top this off, you know those drugs are coming into the country in cargo plane loads, and shipped in big trucks to every city, every single day. It isn't a little brief case. And this kind of thing cannot happen without the police knowing about it. They know about it, and are in on it. As well as many other criminal activities that used to be the domain of the mafia.
Gun confiscation is already happening
For many, the line in the sand is 2A. However, with red-flag laws, and gun registration, and gun limiting laws, we have lost everything but "owning a firearm". To protect ourselves, our gun should be at the ready to be used. But, in many states, it needs to be locked in a safe, unloaded.
Then those who own guns are constantly bombarded with bad press. Every gun crime is caused by good gun owners who have not disarmed themselves yet. And things like, if the police know you have guns, then they can escalate a warrant quicker, "for police safety".
T.H.E.Y. will never confiscate weapons until they have locked everything down and there is military already on the street. So, until then, T.H.E.Y. will do everything they can to take away firearms piecemeal.
They are already stealing people off the streets
We are supposed to have due process and our rights maintained. But that is not what is happening.
You know when they ask for your drivers license (ID) they are running your number through the computer
Oh great and powerful computer, please telleth us if we may busteth this person.
But, who is in the computer? Very rarely it is actual criminals. (like the bad guy in movies) It is populated with people who have outstanding tickets, people who have been arrested before, and people, who had their friends snitch on them (from interrogation or in a plea deal)
The police rarely arrest someone they catch in the middle of a burglary.
They go and find someone "suspicious" and take them down to the station, where they gril them for hours until they confess to something. And then, they tell them that they are going to send them away forever to the big house, unless they plea a deal.
This is not lawful. The hapless person is being told, if they do not sign away all their rights to a trial, they will spend years waiting for a trial, and then they will have the book thrown at them. (where the police officers, in league with the courts, will make up lies to get them convicted. Yes, police officers lie in court on the regular) And then they will go to prison even longer.
This is standard M.O. for police officers today. Fortunately, most people will rarely have to deal with the police, and so, most people do not know that this is the state of things today.
Really, if we are going to have police, they need to be officers of the peace, not police officers (of the court).
Each officer should be fireable with enough people signing a petition.
Further, after every law is passed, it should then go before the police, and they need to vote on whether they want to enforce it, and whether they can enforce it.
And we should rarely waste an officer's time writing speeding tickets. They should be patrolling, making their presence know to any ne'er-do-wells, and be close by to answer calls for help.
But we do not have this. Today we basically have police officers going around saying "Ver ar yo papers?" (which is against the bill of rights) And shaking people down for cash.
So, where is the line of too much?
Well, anyway, all police states end with all the police being dead. So, we may want to work this out before then.
