The July contest #1 by sduttaskitchen| Advanced technology opens the door to advanced crimes!

Hello my dear Steemians,
Today I wanted to write my thoughts for this interesting contest running by @sduttaskitchen and if you want to learn more here is the link:
Yes, it is true and the more technology is developed but also the more accessible to everyone the more people have a temptation of easy profit. For example over here we have recently such fraud when the elderly people will be phoned and the number looks like of police, they say that the son or daughter or a person had caused an accident and in custody and need immediately money to pay for deposit for release. Those people then go to back and understandably thinking that this were they family they give then this money to a person but at the end later on find that it was not true. Often elderly people are easy to trick out, they do not know well the modern equipments and tricks. Such people very vulnerable, that is why for criminal an easy victim.
The same happening with emails that appear like an official bank front page and there you are asked to click on link and update your username and password, as according the message the bank needs your detail. Many people are nowadays aware about such fishing but there are still people who by accident may make silly mistakes.
I believe for any program we need some security measurements. Actually nowadays any IT company when selling their product or producing any program, they already make some safety detection programs, they offer to continue servicing the program and that is often good, because they are specialists and can recognise an intruder who wants to enter the program or steal data.
Of course, we still hear on and off the stories when some organisations are attacked by cyber hackers but there is always a team who are fighting them.
There are some tips that we always share to our elderly family members such as:
if there is any telephone call if they say that they calling from any family members then just put down and phone directly that family member without much chatting
if someone tells that he is from police, then also put down and phone police directly
if there is any strange emails, from someone unknown, just delete it
if there is any email from bank or tax institution, do not do anything they ask, but contact the institution directly
It is not always possible to protect our loved ones but we try to do our best and to raise an awareness.
Cybercrime is a serious problem nowadays that is difficult to handle, but I am glad that we hear more and more about the such cases and that there are also more organisations of IT specialists who work against cybercrime.
I am inviting following users for contest: @rumanaafroz, @monz122, @uzma4882
