There are many things were better in the past and in my opinion, a lot like old hand made furniture, that was made of real solid timber and had different pattern. Because of hand made stuff they were just a single example and of course, rich people wanted to have them and wanted that they do not look alike.
Nowadays, we have many machinery that helping us to work quicker with different materials and easy and simple but also cheap one is plastic, glass and some of those materials that can be built in factories quick and cheap. Majority of them are look the same and there is no real character and that is what I do not like.
Old time or old or vintage things are always very special, they have their value and history. Often we appreciate what is done by our ancestors and we try to keep the keep such things restored and also there are many people who would be interested to have such old stuff.
I remember my grandmother had an old cupboard, that she really loved but it was not looking nice, still she did not want to dispose it. When I asked why, she answered that when she was young her parents bought it for quite much money and she still has memories about her parents when she opens up the doors of cupboard.
Despite of our connection to past and to the history we still have to go forward and to learn to improve world around us. Without wish to make our life better and easier, without invention and exploration it is not possible to move forward. Only if the people who are inventor have support of government it will develop better and people will benefit from those innovation. That is why we all have to strive to better future and give our input.
