I am starting by wishing all my Steemit friends good health. Alhamdulillah, by the grace of Allah, I am very well. A great contest has been organized in the Incredible India community. The theme of the contest is Incredible India monthly contest of June#1|Old Vs New!. Today I will participate in the contest. So let's get started.
What things do you think were the best in the past, but have changed now, share them.
I spent the best times in the past. When I was young, I used to sit with my family and watch Bengali serials on TV in the evening. And now that doesn't happen anymore, everyone sits in their own rooms and spends time on their phones anywhere.
Then, after the power went out in the evening, the family and the neighbors all sat together and chatted outside at night, and the little boys and girls caught fireflies and played with lights. Now I don't see those fireflies like before and I don't chat anymore after the evening.
On a holiday once a week, everyone would sit together at noon to eat and have naughty sweet fights with brothers and sisters. Now this does not happen anymore. Even though there is food on the dining table, everyone eats their food at their own time. The love that brothers, sisters and the family have for each other has diminished.
I had a wonderful moment bathing in the pond together in the hot afternoon, which I always miss. And now we bathe at each other's houses. That is, the distance between us and our neighbors has increased.
During the Navanna festival, everyone in the village celebrates the Pitha festival together, but that no longer happens. I feel that the village has now become a city. Now in our region, people do not come together like before, and over time they have become busy with their lives.
How do you define old as gold?
There is a saying that old is gold. The beautiful moments we spent in childhood are unforgettable. In the past, the people of the village used to sit together on winter days and make fire and eat food together by making different types of pithapuli.
In the summer, everyone used to sit and chat under the shade of the trees in the field on hot days, which is no longer the case. In addition, the women of the village used to sit together to make Nakshi Kantha and there was a radio to listen to music. Indeed, the life of the past was very simple and joyful.
In the past, there were schools far away and boys and girls used to walk to school. There were not many vehicles, due to which people did not have so many diseases in the past. There were open fields in different places in the village where boys and girls used to play together in their free time. The love of the mother and the discipline of the father used to hold them tight. And now the boys and girls play games in closed rooms through digital devices.
Discuss some of the reasons why change is necessary for a better future!
This is a very great question that change is very necessary for a better future. Currently, this digital age has taken time by the hand. Earlier, it took a lot of time and effort to communicate from one place to another, but in this digital age, communication is possible within a short time.
It is said that the more technologically advanced a country is, the more developed that country is. Every country needs to use digital technology. Because people can now get all the news from home through this digital technology.
Suppose you live far away from your family, in this case you must have a touch of modernity, as a result of which you can communicate with your family through digital technology, so you must change your future.
With time, the population rate has also increased. But if the amount of land has not increased, then changes must be made, otherwise it will be more difficult. That is, in this digital age, education, medical care, housing, living arrangements must be changed for the future.

Hola amiga @selina1, el contraste que has realizado entre lo que haciamos antes y lo que sucede ahora, lo contemporáneo me resulta muy interesante y hasta parece redactado por mí, es decir, también lo viví muy parecido, por lo cual, si evaluamos las evidencias nos permiten reconocer que el avance científico y tecnológico, nos han traido cambios muy significativos, creo que debemos aprender a mantener un equilibrio para no dañar mas las generaciones futuras.
En las manos de los actuales padres de esta generación, está la responsabilidad de las generaciones futuras, se les debe enseñar que los cambios son buenos cuando se diferencian los pro y los contras, para establecer lo que mejor conviene.
