How are you all? I hope you are all well. I am also well, Alhamdulillah. Today I am going to participate in the third week of Steemit Engagement Challenge 27. I am starting my post today on the topic set by @suboohi and the topics he taught me. Today I will show you how to make a different type of sweet with vegetables.

Yes! I have eaten or seen various types of sweets made with vegetables. Their taste attracts me sometimes. Some of the notable ones are:-

  1. Carrot Halwa.
  2. Carrot Sandesh.
  3. Jackfruit Bichir Sandesh.
  4. Patole Sweet.
  5. Coconut Laddu.
  6. Coconut Sweet.
  7. Pepe Laddu.
  8. Sweet made with Gourd
  9. Apple sweets etc.

Make any recipe of your choice with fruits or vegetables, with detailed step-by-step pictures.

Today I will show you how to make sweets with vegetables. Although I have never made sweets with vegetables before, this is my first time making them. Today I will show you how to make laddus with papaya. It was a lot of fun to eat. It requires few ingredients to make it, so you can easily make it at home.

Making laddus with papaya.

IngredientsQuantity
PapayaOne medium size (half kg)
Sugar250 grams. (As much as you want)
Garuda milkTwo small packets.
CardamomAs needed.
SaltAs taste.
RaisinsAs taste.

First step:-

First, peel the papaya and wash it well with clean water.

Second step:-

Now, cut the papaya into thin slices like fries with a vegetable cutter.

Third step:-

Now, soak the cut papaya with a little salt and some water for some time. So that the papaya pulp comes out of it.

Fourth step:-

Now, put a pan on the stove, add some water to it and boil the cut papaya for some time.

After a while, take it off and drain the water. Then put the pan back on the stove, add sugar to taste and stir it for some time to make caramel.

Now, add the boiled papaya and stir it well for some time. Stir it for some time and add powdered milk.

Now, stir it well for a few more minutes. Add cardamom and raisins.

Now, take it off and when it cools down a bit, make it into round loaves with the help of your hands.

Once everything is ready, add a little powdered milk on top to make it look a little better. Now you can serve it. Once it is ready, papaya laddu.

No, I did not have any difficulty while making this sweet. I was making it from scratch, which took a while.

Since I have made sweet with vegetables today, it has nutritional benefits. As we know, papaya has various benefits for our body. It contains vitamins, minerals and other ingredients. প্রথমেই আপনাকে অনেক ধন্যবাদ জানাই স্টিমিট এনগেজমেন্ট চ্যালেন্জে অংশগ্রহণ করার জন্য। সবজি দিয়ে মিষ্টি এটা বেশ ইন্টারেস্টিং। আজ আপনি পেঁপে দিয়ে লাড্ডু তৈরি করেছেন। সত্যি বলতে, এই ধরনের রেসিপি আমি আগে দেখিনি। আপনার লেখা পড়ে পেঁপে থেকে লাড্ডু তৈরির পদ্ধতি সম্পর্কে জানতে পারলাম। সত্যি বলতে শ পেঁপে আমার একদমই খেতে ইচ্ছে করে না তবে আশা করি, পেঁপে লাড্ডু খেতে বেশ মজার হবে। ভালো থাকবেন।
