"There is no comparison between the sun and the moon because they both have their time to shine, why compare the old and the new?"

Everything has its time and season. There comes a moment when something new becomes old, and something else new takes its place. While we may sometimes favor the old over the new, its time has passed. We can only wish to have it back, but we must learn to let go.

Share the things that you believe were best in the past, but now have been changed.

• Firstly, I think handwriting was better in the past compared to now with digital writing.

Handwriting allowed everyone to express themselves, learn, make corrections, and maintain neatness. It was enjoyable to use a pen to capture ideas, write letters, jot down notes, and keep diaries. When you write with a pen, mistakes are less common because they can ruin your work, which encourages you to study hard and know what to write on paper.

Digital writing has taken away the chance for young people to learn. They rely entirely on Google for corrections. Digital writing has made many people lazy, making learning less engaging. While it speeds up work and tasks, it doesn't provide the same satisfaction as handwriting.

• Secondly, games from the past.

As a child, we played various games that I still remember fondly. They provided a way to unwind and learn at the same time. We used to draw specific diagrams in the sand for our games, but nowadays, children don't play those games anymore because they are considered dirty. The new games are those played on tablets and cellphones, which have taken away the joy of playing with classmates and friends.

• Thirdly; cooking method

The cooking methods from the past may seem stressful, but I still find joy in them because they bring a unique flavor to the meal. Typically, all the ingredients are fresh and natural, although nowadays we tend to favor processed options.

• Finally, Culture and Traditions

Many cultures have been lost as popular ones dominate, but reviving them would be wonderful. For instance, the tradition of storytelling under the moonlight, where we gather to hear fascinating tales from our parents. Those old days were truly amazing and enjoyable.

How do you define old is gold?

"Old is GOLD"

"Old is Gold" is a well-known proverb. This simply means that things of the old can be valuable and appreciated. It suggests that we should not see old items as worthless, as they hold great value. This can be illustrated with examples;

First, consider monuments, statues, and ancient buildings that we cherish today; these damaged structures from centuries past are valued more than gold. We preserve them to maintain our traditions and cultures.

Secondly, when it comes to friendships, we often treasure our old friends more than anything, even more than new ones. Our cherished memories are like gold. Our old proverbs and sayings are our valuable wisdom today.

It is undeniable that what we hold dear are often old things. In the end, the proverb emphasizes that old items are not waste but are truly precious. The saying "Old is Gold," though brief, carries a profound meaning that, when understood and applied, can enrich our lives.

Discuss some points why changes are needed for a better future!

Change is crucial for a brighter future as it helps us adapt and make progress in life. Without change, we risk stagnation and limited opportunities that can block both personal and societal development. It is said that change is a continuous thing and change is growth, so it is needed.

Welcoming change enables us to learn, acquire new skills, and tackle challenges, which leads to a more rewarding and progressive future. Change is not only essential in life, but it is also a strong driver of positive change. By accepting change, we can open up new opportunities, make progress both personally and socially, and create a better future for ourselves and future generations.
