Share the things that you believe were best in the past but now have been changed.

In the past, I believed in several things as the best way for me to live my life or as the best things that I needed in life. Today, I no longer have so much belief in them.

  • Quality over Quantity: Before, I believe in buying something in quantity over quality, but today, I only believe in having quality items over quantity.

  • Personal Connection: In the past, I had more face-to-face communication with people, but today it is no longer like that as digital communication has taken over

  • Simplicity of Life: In the past, life used to be simple in such a way that I could easily go to bed early and spend time with family and friends, but today, with the availability of smartphones, I no longer do that.

  • Respect for traditions: In the past, culture and family traditions were once highly valuable, but with globalization today, we have shifted such values to priorities.

How do you define old is gold?

I define old as gold as the values, things, or people from the past that were once valuable. Things that often hold timeless in the past. It is a recognition that experience, tradition, and simplicity can change newer trends.

For example, old music may stir deeper emotions and meaning than modern music, and the advice of grandparents may carry more wisdom than online advice (tips).

Discuss some points why changes are needed for a better future!

Changes are needed for a better future for the following points of mine:

  • Increased awareness: The world we are in today is more aware of sustainability, social justice, and mental health, and positive change is important.

  • Innovation Solve Problems: Advancement in medicine, science, and technology helps to cure sickness and diseases and improve our lives and environment.

  • Better Opportunities: Change in work models, education, and equality have helped to open doors for so many people than in the past.

Saludos aprecias amiga.

What a thoughtful reflection I truly resonate with the shift from quantity to quality and the loss of personal connections. While change brings growth, it’s vital to cherish timeless values like simplicity, tradition, and meaningful relationships....wish you all the best.
