The May contest #2 by sduttaskitchen|Child labour! The May contest #2 by sduttaskitchen|Child labour!
What are the main reasons behind child labour? Share your opinion.
Child labour results from poverty, low levels of education and weak rules being followed. Because their families are poor, many children have to work to pay for things such as food and school. Most rural children are involved in agricultural or small jobs that do not receive much supervision. By taking advantage of this issue, employers choose to hire cheap and unchecked workers instead of acting ethically.
There are cultures where using children in workplaces is considered reasonable, so tackling the problem becomes more complicated. I think poverty is responsible, leading kids to remain on the job instead of going to school and so missing out on chances to improve their lives in the future. For child labour to be ended, we need to tackle economic injustice, help all children attend good schools and follow very strict child laws. We should focus more on children’s rights and welfare than on benefits that only last a short time.
Share some ways we can spread awareness that children need education instead of labouring!
Here are a few tips for pointing out that children should concentrate on their studies rather than working. The use of social media allows people to spread information about child labour. Organizations and schools in the community may organize events to explain to parents why they should ensure their children get an education. Rural communities are often reached well with street theatre, signs and radio broadcasts.
Children’s rights can be championed by famous individuals in the community, encouraging new policies. Collaboration with businesses can highlight the importance of ethical approaches. Access to education should become simpler and cheaper, with governments giving out scholarships and other assistance. Keeping the problem in people’s minds, particularly in at-risk areas, should lead to a new emphasis on children’s futures. Only after that will every child receive the chance to learn and break free from poverty.
How can we reduce or stop child labour?Share some tips.
The best way to end child labour is by dealing with its origin. Ensure schools are open to every child and focus on giving them free and good education. Laws against child labour must be enforced by the government and those who violate them should be punished. Donating money and giving poor families work can lessen the children’s need to work. Using media, organizing programs and talking about the topic in schools support the change of public perspective.
In some cases, NGOs and locals are key to monitoring and informing the UN about abuses. This encourages companies to treat adults fairly so child labour is not needed to support the family. In addition, people should help companies that refuse to hire child labor.

Can you imagine that children are being deprived of education because they do not have parents who can take care of their basic needs like clothing, shelter and sound education. When a child suffers from child labor it exposes them to setting diseases like high fever, anxiety and stress. I can vividly recall a situation where I saw a child suffering from child labor looking very malnutritious because of no parents.
Children lacking vitamin can lead to early short-sightedness and long sightedness inclusive of kwashiorkor. We can take preventive measures by creating awareness on the dangers of child labor and frustrating the growth of sound education in the society. The government agencies and non-governmental organizations can help by assisting parents with scholarship to help train their children in schools. Hello @entity01, after growing through your post I discovered that you have done a great job highlighting valid points concerning child labor.
