This is one of my silhouette drawing.

I would say drawing is more than just making pictures. It helps me slow down, focus, and see life in a simpler way as I used to be. In a world full of distractions and stress, drawing gives me peace and clarity, and relief too.

When I draw, my mind is free from stress as I mentioned. I don’t have to think about problems or worries when I draw. I just focus on the lines, the shapes, and the colors which add clarity. This helps me clear my thoughts and enjoy the present moment as usual. The simple act of moving a pencil on paper calms me down and a deep breath will solve the problem. It’s like meditation but with a creative touch as I enjoy it a lot.

Drawing also teaches me patience and to have inner peace. Sometimes, I want to finish a drawing quickly, but I’ve learned that good things take time as more time finishes the detailing. I practice, make mistakes, and improve little by little and I gain success. This reminds me that life doesn’t have to be rushed as we do. Simple, slow progress is more important than perfection ,that I have learned.

Another way drawing makes me simple is by helping me see beauty in everyday things that means it feels eternal. I notice small details, like the way shadows fall on a table or how the clouds change shape and more. Before I started drawing, I didn’t pay attention to details. But now, I see the world with fresh eyes. Everything becomes more meaningful, yet simpler at the same time and more peaceful.

Drawing also helps me express my emotions as all of us lack. Instead of overthinking or talking too much, I let my pencil do the work for me. Whether I feel happy, sad, or confused, I can put it on paper and make it a picture. This makes my emotions easier to understand and manage on the go. I don’t need to explain everything in words as my drawings speak for me.

Another reason drawing makes me simple is that I don’t need much to do that if hurdles are overcome. A piece of paper and a pencil are enough for me. In a world filled with expensive gadgets and complicated tools, drawing reminds me that the simplest things bring the most joy in life.

Lastly, drawing connects me with others in a simple way as anything. I don’t need to talk too much or try to impress anyone in life. My art speaks for itself. Sometimes, people look at my drawings and feel something, and that’s enough for me.

In the end, drawing teaches me that life doesn’t have to be complicated as it would be. By focusing on the present, appreciating small things, and expressing myself freely, I feel lighter and happier. Through drawing, I have found simplicity in both my art and my life. So dedicating this drawing to all of you.
