The end is near: A mini-diary of my journey as a undergrad
It’s finally coming to an end as an undergraduate. It’s been five years of nothing short of grace and His faithfulness. I want to start now to share my story with you.
Hello steemians. Hope we all are doing just okay today. So today's diary is taking a new or different turn to allow me share with you my joy in full.
This is not all of it, but something in me tells me I need to share it. It might not be the bst of stories to come up here, or the best time to share it, or I may lack the perfect vocabulary to tailor this story.
But, it’s still my story, and I am excited to share it with you however it gets to you. The most important thing is that we get to share the same understanding.
Before taking these pictures off my phone, I want to save them here, to have something to look back at again for a smile. Even as I type this post, this beautiful smile is unapologetically seated on my lips, and I can’t help but give it the best shot.
Nights of studies, days in the library and resource centres, classes that seemed not to end, tests that gave us headaches, exams that almost took our very souls from us, assignments that never pitied us, presentations that never left our side, it’s now all a beautiful memory for me.
My friends? They helped in making me see life differently, and what it meant to know people. My roommates, especially the ones I have now, they are nothing but the best set of people I have met.
I can’t forget to mention my family. If there’s ever a perfect family, mine is the first. I have the most supportive family. My parents have made me see, know, and experience the kind of love I have never seem or felt elsewhere yet.
Bragging isn’t the best thing to do. Actually, I am literally bragging about my parents in the Lord, because they’re the best.
And to everyone who supported me in one way or the other, may the Lord bless you immensely. Not many of my friends, even my family, would get to see this. But I’m doing it here because they deserve to be talked about anywhere and everywhere for their good works.
I haven’t signed out just yet. Once I do, I will share it with us again.
But the Lord is working it out already. I’m only waiting on Him to bring me there. So the ride or journey has been paid for in full, and well taken care of by Him.
It’s just me being excited.
