🏵️Bangladeshi Muslim crowd holds protest march against attacks on Palestine 🏵️

In protest against the attack on Palestine, today Muslims from all walks of life in Bangladesh united and organized a protest rally. The main rally took place at Suhrawardy Udyan, where devout Muslims gathered in large numbers to participate. However, for those of us who could not travel to Dhaka, a massive protest rally was organized in Kotchandpur upazila.

The brutal massacre that Israel is currently carrying out in Palestine in no way reflects respect for human rights. Every human being has the right to live on this earth. Even harming an animal is considered a violation of rights; yet they are continuously killing thousands of women, children, and the elderly. This cruel oppression by Israel has brought tears to the eyes of people all over the world. Whenever we see these videos of murder on social media, our hearts bleed.

As human beings, we have a natural love and empathy for other humans. No person with a sound mind can tolerate such cruelty towards humanity. And from that perspective, we too cannot remain silent. That is why we organized a protest rally to strongly condemn Israel's actions. After the rally, people from various areas delivered speeches. The main message of their statements was: we want peace on this earth. We want to live in peace. We do not want to witness any more killings. This brutal massacre by Israel must be stopped, and those responsible must be brought to justice.

The United Nations was formed after the Second World War to prevent any form of injustice in the world. But in today’s dark times, the United Nations remains silent. Its primary responsibility is to maintain peace across the globe. Yet even after witnessing this brutality, it is taking no action against Israel, thus failing in its mission to preserve peace.

Through this protest rally, we strongly condemn and protest against these oppressors. As stated in the Hadith, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, “Oppression will become darkness on the Day of Judgment and will surround the oppressor.” At that time, they will have no place to flee.

I am a human being. As a human, I want to say: such massacres must come to an end. We want a peaceful environment — one in which everyone can live a good and dignified life.
