Leading Solemn Assembly Session in my School// 30-05-2025
I walked into the school Assembly ground, the atmosphere was already charged with anticipation. Yesterday's solemn assembly was a highly anticipated event in Kings and Queens Royal Schools, where I work as a teacher. As I made my way to the front, I felt a sense of responsibility and privilege to lead my students and colleagues in prayer.

The morning devotion was a sacred time for us to come together, seeking God's guidance, protection, and blessings. As I took the lead, I gazed out at the sea of young faces, eager to connect with their Creator.
"Dear Heavenly Father I began, my voice filled with conviction, "we come before you today, humbled and grateful for the gift of life, and for the opportunity to gather in your presence."
The students and teachers bowed their heads, their eyes closed, as we embarked on a journey of prayer and supplication. We prayed for God's protection over our school community, asking Him to keep our students and teachers safe from harm.

We lifted up our political leaders, church leaders, and traditional rulers, asking God to grant them wisdom, integrity, and Compassion as they serve our nation and communities.
We remembered the sick and the needy, praying for God's healing touch and provision to be upon them. The Assembly ground was filled with the sound of murmured "amens" and heartfelt prayers, as we petitioned God to meet the needs of those around us.
As we prayed, I could feel the presence of God in our midst. The atmosphere was electric, charged with faith and anticipation. We were spirit-filled, our hearts lifted up to God, as we believed Him for answers to our prayerS.
As we closed our prayer session, I felt a sense of fulfillment and gratitude. We had come together as a community, united in our pursuit of God's presence and power. I knew that our prayers would not return void, and that God would indeed hear and answer us.
As we dispersed to our various classes and activities, I felt hopeful and encouraged. Yesterday's solemn assembly had been a powerful reminder of the importance of prayer and community, and I knew that it would have a lasting impact on our school and beyond.
