Attending A Career Day event organized by St. Philip's Nursery/Primary School. [14:04:2025].
I woke up early on a sunny Monday morning, feeling excited and a sense of responsibility. Yesterday, my head teacher, Mrs. Nkanta, had appointed me to represent Kings and Queens Royal Schools at the Career Day event organized by St. Philip's Nursery/Primary School.
I felt honoured to be chosen as all the staff for this task. As I got dressed, I couldn't help but think about the importance of this event. Career Day was an opportunity for young students to learn about different professions and get inspired to pursue their passions. I was eager to share my experiences and insights with the students of St. Philip's.

After a quick breakfast, I headed to school to meet with Mrs. Nkanta. She handed me some materials about our school and a few gifts for the host school. She reminded me of another function she needed to attend to that hindered from honouring St. Philip's invitation.
I arrived at St. Philip's Nursery/Primary School around 9:00 am. The school's compound was bustling with excitement as students from various schools had gathered for the event. I was greeted by the head teacher of St. Philip's, Mrs. Akintunde, who welcomed me warmly and showed me to the hall where the event was taking place.

As I entered the hall, I was impressed by the colorful decorations and the enthusiastic atmosphere. Students from different schools were seated at various stalls, each representing a particular profession or career path. I saw students dressed as doctors, engineers, lawyers, and even astronauts!
I took my place at the stall allocated to Kings and Queens Royal Schools and began to set up my materials. As the event commenced, I was approached by a stream of curious students who asked me questions about my school and the various careers available.

I spoke to them about the importance of hard work, determination, and pursuing one's passion. I also shared with them my own experiences as a teacher at Kings and Queens Royal Schools, highlighting the opportunities and support that our school offers.
Throughout the day, I engaged with students from different schools, learning about their aspirations and interests. I was impressed by their curiosity and enthusiasm, and I felt inspired by their potential.
As the event drew to a close, Mrs. Akintunde thanked me for representing Kings and Queens Royal Schools and for sharing my insights with the students. I, in turn, thanked her for hosting the event and for providing a platform for young students to explore their career options.

As I left St. Philip's Nursery/Primary School, I felt proud to have represented my school and to have played a part in inspiring the next generation of leaders and professionals. I knew that this experience would stay with me for a long time, and I looked forward to sharing my story with my students back at Kings and Queens Royal Schools when we resume for third term.

The kids looks beautifully dressed in their career uniform. I wish that what we wish to be in future as a kid is usually what we really become. Someone like me I had always said I want to be a lawyer but her I am currently a teacher and a makeup artist. I wish them the best.🥰
