It was dreadful for me, which I never planned for. In the early hours of the day, I left my home in the Akwanga Local government area in Lafia, which is the state capital of Nasarawa State. I left my home to Fulafia to pay my school fees and other fees at the university.

Reaching the university, I felt sad because the portal was down, and I was told to come back on Monday since Thursday is a public holiday. Since the school portal was down, I didn't pay the school fees; I left and went to Unity Bank to pay for other fees.

I left the school and took a tricycle to the Unity Bank, which is inside the town. Upon reaching Unity Bank, I went to the ATM machine and made a withdrawal, which I was charged equivalent to what POS was charging. After making the withdrawal, I then walk into the banking hall so I can process the payment and collect the receipt of payment, which serves as evidence that I have paid.

Unfortunately, the printer was faulty, so I stood by and waited for the printer to be fixed. I stood for about a 1 hour before I was told the printer had been fixed, and I then made the payment and collected my payment printout.

I collected the printout, came out of the bank, and entered a tricycle back to the school so I could change the printout to a receipt, which would allow me to continue with department and faculty registration. However, the cashier to attend to me wasn't in the seat, so I left the school.

On my way, I stopped by a roasted corn seller stand and bought roasted corn. I love eating roasted corn, and I couldn't get my eyes off the corn when I saw It. I bought some and left it at my lodge and ate it.
