Steem Memory Game: Playing the game and learning from the characters

As I sat down with my phone. I didn’t just want to scroll through social media or chat—I just wanted to play something that would challenge my brain. So I opened the Steem Memory Game again.
I wanted to play two free challenge as always. The game showed me a grid of cards, all face-down. My job was to flip them and match the ones with the same picture. It sounds simple, but it really tests my memory and focus after some days without playing it.
🧠 My First Trial – Slow and Steady

I started my first trial. I took my time, flipping one card after the other. I saw pictures like doctors, teachers and lawyers etc. This week was all about jobs and occupation. One card had a picture of a man with spanner 🛠️ , and that made me think of a mechanic who fixes cars and machines.
As I played, I made some mistakes and that was normal, because there's no how someone can play without making a mistake. I matched the wrong cards a few times, especially when I mixed up the card with another shape. But I didn’t rush. As always I kept going until I matched all the pairs correctly.

My result for the first trial:
🕒 Time: 48 seconds
🔁 Moves: 22
🏆 My final Score: 1531 points
I can remember how happy I was and I really smile seeing the score I had, though I knew I could do much better than that. This time around I made up my mind to be a little more faster while playing.
🧠My Second Trial – Playing Smarter

I started my second trial. This time, I didn’t just flip cards anyhow. I looked at the grid carefully before making my first move. I remembered where some pictures were from the first trial, and that helped me move more faster.
Again, I saw the wrench and gear card. It reminded me of the mechanic near my street in Victor. He fixed my dad’s car last month. He didn’t just guess or rush to fix the car instead he listened to the engine, checked everything, and found the problem. That’s how I played this round: slow, careful, and focused. I made fewer mistakes this time. I matched the cards faster and used fewer moves.

My result for the second trial:
🕒 Time: 47 seconds
🔁 Moves: 24
🏆 Score: 1512 points
I was proud of myself. I improved a bit in the seconds and played with more confidence.
🔍 What I Learned from playing the Game Today
Playing the Steemit Memory Game reminded me of how mechanics work. They don’t just fix things—they use their memory, experience, and focus. One wrong move in their job can cause a very bigger problem, just like one wrong tap in the game can drop your score.
- Mechanics remember which tool fits which part.
- They know how to listen and observe before acting.
- They do solve car or machines problems step by step with much care and focus, just like in the game I played.
Infact, even though I only played two rounds in the game, I still understand how the game really connects with real life. It’s not just about having fun playing this steem memory game—it also teaches me how to think more deep and wide, stay calm, and improve on my brain.
My next game tomorrow I'll focus on another Job and occupation shown in the game. Maybe a teacher, a nurse, or even a builder. For today, I played like a mechanic, and I’m proud of how far I went.
