The Diary Game: Going To The Market/ First Time Sharing My Diary On Steemit (24-06-2025)

Hi my friends, happy New week to my fellow steemians, this is the first time I am writing my diary game and though I am very anxious, I know I will be able to communicate my day's activities in the manner you will all understand and enjoy.

I first prayed when I woke up, I prayed to the giver of life and all good things. When I finished with prayers, I talked to my husband about us cooking soup that is going to take us for the week because now we have light and I will save some in the freezer.

My hubby sent me some money and I went on my way to the market very early so that I can see nice things and fresh vegetables to buy. I went to the market and it was time to turn around, oh! Sorry the name of the Market is Udua Afagha, it is one of the most popular Uyo market that sales only on Tuesdays and Fridays. I was in the market and I first went to my fish customer to buy fish from her.

The market was congested but I still manage to find my way to places I needed to buy food items. After I bought the dry fish I went to where this old woman sells palm fruit, I bought it so that I can use it and cook Banga soup and remained some for banga stew.

I felt the woman cheated me but since she told me it was much for the amount I paid for, I took it and went on my way to buy other things from other people, I also bought okra so that we can add to the banga stew, the okra was plenty so I gave some to my neighbour when I came back from the market.

As I arrived the house, my husband was waiting for me, I came back late and I apologized because some how it's not my fault, the way market is you need to walk your legs out before you could see something to buy. I engaged him to cut the okra so that I can handle other kitchen stuffs, did I tell you that my husband is a pro when it comes to kitchen affairs? He is really a genius, I always give him his flowers.

We both joined hands and the food was ready though late but the sweetness of the food made every wait worth it. So when I finished eating, I packed the plates and wash them and also went to my working place because I was called on so I left the house in the afternoon to attend to that emergency.

It was not even something serious but since I was at work I did some things and signed for leave throughout the day. When I came back from work, I branched my kid's school and took him back home since school had dismissed when I closed from work.

As we arrived our house, I bath my son and called my husband to know if he needed anything for lunch but fortunately he told me he was still full from the food he ate since morning so that is why I also took siesta.

As I woke up from siesta, I rushed from the house to the market again to buy measuring oat for my son, he loves it more than normal food so I branches the POS shop and withdrew cash and ran to where the seller was and bought it for 10 cups before I went back to the house.

After I reached the house, I undressed and And bath myself and my son again then we went outside to stay with him and my neighbour's child. I was practising how to write on steemit using markdowns, my brother explained everything to me so I started from evening time to practice what I was taught and I think I am getting it one after the other.

When my husband came back from his laundry shop, I warmed the soup again and made fufu so that we can eat together and go to sleep inorder for me to wake up early the next day and prepare my son for school. I am practising how to write and I know very soon I will use the markdowns very well. Thank you for your engagement.
