In the afternoon before leaving for a relative's takziah, my uncle and I took the time to buy some rice at Toko Tangse Indah, one of the most well-known rice shops in Krueng Geukuh and its surroundings. The shop is located at Jl. Ramai No. 71, Krueng Geukuh, North Aceh, and has been around for a long time-even since I was a child, it has been operating and still exists today. Its consistent existence over the years proves that it is indeed trusted by many customers for the quality of its goods and services. When we arrived, the store was open as usual, with a fairly crowded but orderly atmosphere. Sacks of rice of various brands and sizes were neatly arranged from the front door to the inside of the store. In terms of cleanliness and organization, the store looks well-maintained and comfortable to visit.

Types of rice available

The service at Toko Tangse Indah is very good. The shopkeepers are welcoming and ready to help you choose the type of rice that suits your needs. One of the main advantages of this shop is the availability of rice of various brands and types at competitive prices.

During my visit, I bought a 15-kilogram sack of Cap Joss brand rice for Rp 250,000, which when converted into the digital currency Steem (at an exchange rate of Rp 2,260 per Steem), is equivalent to approximately 110.57 Steems. Apart from Cap Joss, there are also several other brands such as Cap Terong Ungu (Jongkong Harum) Rice 15 kg at a price of Rp 240,000 or around 106.19 Steem, Cap Sendok Super Rice 15 kg for Rp 260,000 or around 114.60 Steem, and Cap Panah Rice 15 kg at a price of Rp 245,000 or equivalent to 108.40 Steem. In addition to large packs of rice, there is also 10 kg of Naiolo Sendok Rice at IDR 170,000, equivalent to 75.22 Steem, as well as local bulk rice sold per can (± 5 kg) at IDR 80,000, equivalent to 35.40 Steem. All types of rice available here come from rice mills that are known for their quality, both in terms of cleanliness, aroma, and texture when cooked.

Toko Tangse Indah also provides convenience in terms of payment. Besides being able to be paid in cash, customers can also make payments via bank transfer, making it very flexible for all groups. The store is open every day, including holidays, and is always ready to serve the people who come, both from Krueng Geukuh itself and from other surrounding areas. These advantages make Toko Tangse Indah one of the most frequently recommended rice shops by residents.

In terms of facilities, the shop is not fancy, but it is functional and efficient. Inside the store, there is also a special container for bulk rice, complete with a measuring tin and weighing table, indicating that the store still serves small or medium purchases in addition to sack purchases. I also took some photos as documentation showing the atmosphere of the store, the stacks of rice of various brands, and the service system inside. Everything looked neat and well-organized.

Overall, Toko Tangse Indah is a great choice for buying rice with standard prices and good service. Stock is always available, prices are competitive, payment methods are flexible, and the store is open every day. Taking all these things into consideration, this shop is very worthy of being a place to shop for rice for the general public, both for daily needs and large events such as kenduri or takziah.
