The Diary Game: Waking Up To Prepare Cow Skin Sauce With Veggies 04.07.2025

Hello fam, the great people of steemit, thank you for having me once again, so I was thinking of how to do and share my diary with you because these days we don't have electricity and it is affecting us and our businesses, so I bought fuel to power my generator and charge my phone as well.

I woke up in the kitchen, I was very hungry, the soup I ate the other night was like it was making me more hungry and I woke up by 5am and was preparing cow skin sauce so that I can eat it with rice.

The restaurants around did not open as at when I woke up, so there was no possibility of me buying food outside, so as a sharp guy I am, I removed the cow skin in my freezer and the small veggies I had in the freezer and did small sauce because there was raw rice and I was going to also boil it and eat.

After eating, I felt satisfied and filled but one thing was remaining I needed a chilled beer to wash down what I ate but there was none in my fridge not even a juice so I accepted my fate and ate my thing like that at least I was satisfied and filled to the brim.

After eating, I bath and went out to look for where I could buy palm-oil and stock up for October sales, I went to an interior village to buy, the only thing that still made me believe I never left the boundaries of Uyo was the sign board, I did not want to go to where I might not be able to get back home when it is time.

On my way searching, I saw my classmate of back then, she had a small kiosk, she sells things like provision so I branched and bought few things from her, she is still very shy as much as she was then that we were in school.

Upon all my toils and all I still couldn't see anyone that was ready to sell their palm oil, this was when it dawned on me that people are really stocking up and waiting for October to December so that they can sell at high price and make enough profit, so anyone that is even lucky to see it now should hold it dearly.

I spent all the day looking for where to buy palm oil but I didn't see any so in the evening time I went back home but on my way I bought white soup and garri so that I can eat it while at home. And immediately I got home I ate my food and took the remaining go the freezer.

After preserving the food, I made some few calls to see if there will be anyone that will be ready to sell palm-oil for me in my maternal village and luckily for me I was able to get one person so I told him I will be coming the next day to buy, that made my day and made up for the struggles I had during the day.
