The Diary Game |04-04-2025 | "Returning to the city after Eid holidays and irrigation work"
Last night, a large almond field was lined up all night (although I had to go to the field twice during the night). My father went to the field after Fajr prayers and called me to go to the field. I reached the field at 5.30 am. He called me to move the water pipe. Even though the water has reached the low-lying areas of the field, I now have to water the high areas.

I got to work and am relocating the pipes to irrigate the higher areas of the almond fields. I continued working for about 1 hour and after finishing the irrigation of that land I took the pipe to irrigate another land.
The sun rose just after 6 am, leaving behind a red glow, although it did not stay for long, the sun was covered under the clouds. I finished my irrigation work by 9 am and returned home. I took a bath and had breakfast.

Some people are working on fishing by removing water from their pond next to our house. Before all the water in the pond is gone, they are lowering the net to remove some fish. They had placed tree branches and bamboo in the pond to create a fish sanctuary so that the fish could make a safe shelter there. Before casting the net, they were removing the tree branches and then casting the net. They started pulling the net and after about 30 minutes, they had pulled the nets in all the ponds to one place. After bringing all the fish in the net to one place, they put another net in the next pond to keep the fish alive and release the fish into it so that the fish would stay alive until they were taken to the market in the afternoon.
Today, Friday, the holy Jumma, I have to go to the mosque. I went to the mosque after returning home and offered prayers and returned. Today I will go to Dinajpur, so I had lunch and packed my bags. After saying goodbye to my parents, I left for the bus counter. Today is Friday and tomorrow will be the end of the government holiday, so many people will return to their workplaces today. Today is very crowded on the bus. I bought a ticket and boarded the bus, and after reaching Thakurgaon, more passengers boarded the bus, so there was no room to stand on the bus. I reached Dinajpur in the evening after finishing an unbearable journey. I came to my flat and freshened up with a cup of tea and talked to my younger brother in the next room. I am very tired today, I have to sleep quickly.
