Today was one of the most enjoyable and memorable days with my little girl. Since morning, her behavior has been so cheerful, and we decided to spend the whole day together, enjoying the simple things that turned out to bring great happiness to our little family.

The morning started with a sweet moment when I gave her ice cream, her favorite cold snack that always makes my cheeks glow. She enjoyed the ice cream with a big smile and a funny expression that made my wife and I laugh non-stop. Seeing our little daughter enjoying this moment so much, we also got carried away in a simple yet meaningful happy atmosphere.

Entering the afternoon, we ate together in the hut behind the house, a place that we always use to relax. My wife had prepared a complete side dish of home-style dishes, such as warm white rice, fragrant grilled fish, and pliek sauce, a typical Acehnese dish rich in flavor. We also served a cold, refreshing syrup drink as a complement. Our little daughter seemed to be enjoying her lunch, although occasionally she would take a bite while playing around the hut. The atmosphere of this lunch felt so intimate and full of warmth, like eating in the middle of nature with a gentle breeze that added to the enjoyment.

After taking a short break, in the afternoon I took him to a small shop near the house. There we sat in a small hut while buying him his favorite snacks such as wafers, chips and soft drinks. While enjoying his snacks, he played around the hut, laughed and occasionally called me to show what he found. Moments like this are always special memories, where we can get close to each other and build a strong bond between father and son.

When night falls after all the activities of the day, I still accompany my little daughter to play inside the house. She brings her favorite mini scooter, goes around the living room while laughing and inviting me to play with her. After playing enough, I feed her a simple dinner like white rice mixed with a little used cooking oil and salt. Although simple, she eats it very greedily, as if it is the most delicious food in the world.

Today is not filled with luxurious things, but it is filled with love, laughter and togetherness. Moments with our little girl like this are a reminder that true happiness lies in the little things done with affection. May days like this continue to pass, leaving sweet traces in the journey of our little family.
