Update #118: Writing Expedition ✍️, Have Fun while Writing The diarygame (08/07/2025) upgrading my account with sterling Bank, having a lost hope but hopefull hope ahead

Dear diary

I have to bring this here so that my friends can see what I went through on Tuesday.

Tuesday morning I woke up with so much hope and happiness.
I have two important appointments on Tuesday, one was scheduled to be by 8am and the other by 11am.

Firstly I woke up very early in the morning of Tuesday (08/07/2025), I got prepared, took my bath and I dressed up on cooperate wear since it was a working day.

I have an appointment with one of my bank which is sterling Bank.

Since June, my sterling Bank app stop transferring money but i will receive money and the app will open, but when ever I want to transfer out money, it won't go through.

So at first I thought someone has tempered with my account but since I was alone in the house, all my kids are in school so I didn't have anything to worry about.

I call my account manager and he gave me an appointment then but I couldn't go since I didn't have need for the money.

So on Monday morning I called my account manager and he gave me an appointment on Tuesday so which means to me, Tuesday I have two appointments.

The second appointment was to meet with the owner of Sun center plaza at Ewet housing.

I have plans of going into a new business which is foods and drinks. So one faithful day I passed through sun center Ewet housing and I saw their bar section was not operating, and since the owner is from my place and we do politics together.

I pick up my phone and I called the wife and I told her that I have interest in the bar and restaurant space in their plaza so she gave me an appointment to come and meet her on Tuesday by 11am.

So after dressing up, I checked the time it was 7am, I pour my body spray, and I put on my wig and I was set to go.

Normally banks open by 8am, but myself I wanted to leave the house early so that before that 8am, I will have to be at the bank and finish up what ever I have to do there before 11am

I don't like delaying appointments, I love keeping to time.

Reaching the bank, it was not yet 8am, so I waited outside until it was 8am and I called my account manager and he told me that he is inside that I should climb up.

I went inside and meet him, I showed him my app and he said that my account needs upgrading andhe directed me downstairs to the customer care.

Inside me does current account needs upgrading, because when I opened this account last year, I opened it as current account. I
already have savings account with first Bank and opay, so I needed current account with sterling Bank and I have one with fidelity bank.

So reaching the customer care service, I was asking to feel form and I was directed to who will attend to me

Getting to the lady desk, I ask her why my account needs upgrades, she told me that my account was open as a student savings account and I can't put money beyond 50,000, that why my account was blocked is because I have been putting more than that and I was like what?

I told him that I opened a current account and I had been operating the account as a current account. She told me that the mistake was from my account manager.

Inside me I was very angry, this is the account I have refused to get a ATM card because I was avoiding withdrawing at all times.

I didn't have any other choice than to upgrade my account.

I didn't only upgrade my account, I use the opportunity and apply for ATM card at once, inside me I might stop using the account because I don't know why I should be having 3 savings account meanwhile my business needs a current account.

I applied for my ATM card and within some minutes it was issued to me.

I went and meet with my account manager and ask him why he opened a savings account for me and he explained to me that the error was from the system that I can still open the current account.

I didn't have time to spend again at the bank because it was already passed 10am and I have another appointment by 11am.

So I told him some other time that I will have to think about it.

I most confess, this bank is so beautiful inside. The sterling Bank I went to is located at Atiku off Abak road. But while I fil the form the security ask me to put Abak road branch which means it is Abak road branch.

That same spirit, I took Keke to Ewet housing. Direct to sun center to meet with the lady.

Reaching there, I didn't see the woman so I called her on phone to inform her that I am at the plaza, so she ask me to wait that she is busy.

I was so hungry so I bought biscuit and eat to quench a little of the hunger in me.

Why waiting for the lady to come, I went outside to check how the place is and I noticed it was closed, so I took some pictures so that I can share with us.

While waiting, the lady called me and asked if I can come to their main house, so I told her that I don't know the house, she told me not to worry that her driver will come and pick me.

So in few minutes time, the driver came and I follow to their main house.

Reaching there I saw the wife and the husband. The husband has been sick for some time now so the wife was the one taking charge of the businesses.

So the husband was surprised to see me and I was served with soft drink and chin chin.

The wife told her husband why I am there that I want to rent the bar and restaurant space, so the husband told me that he can't rent the place because he is in court with the former person that rented the place.

That the man went and changed his company name from Sun center to his own company name to the extent that people will be calling him to know if he sold the place out.

That he approached the guy using the place to return the restaurant and bar name is his company name which is sun center but he refused rather he ask him to pay for damages with the sum of 15m.

When ask why, the guy using the place told him that when came that the place was in a mess that he fixed some things.

So because of that, they went to court that he is the one to even charge the guy for damages.

So he ask me to go and wait until they finish court case that he will call me and that from time to time I should be texting him to know the current plan.

I was so angry inside me because I had already had hope but I didn't have any choice than to go back home.

I really spent time here until 3pm because we were gisting and all that. We are from the same local government.

I came back home and it was 4pm, I was very hungry and tired, I had this small cook red oil rice, so I quickly run down to my kitchen, warm the rice and I eat it like that in the pot.

I don't know who is on this table with me eating food from the pot.

After eating, I took my shower and I rested Abit.

I woke up passed 7pm and I walk down to the main road to buy pears.

I love eating pears and this is the season of pears, I eat it almost every night. Maybe in my next post I will write a post about pear.

After buying the pear, I bought roasted yam and eat as my dinner. Though I was not hungry again.

I came back home and I went straight to bed.

So guys this was how my day went.

I am still hoping that I have good reply from the man. So guys pray for me I get this place because I am really tired of sitting at home, I need extra money so that I will be able to take care of my children expercially now that I have two undergraduate and two secondary.
The tasks a head of me is not easy but I know with God all things are possible.
