SFS Contest Picture of the Day Week 42 || 05.07.2025

Hope everyone are well and healthy by the grace of Almighty Allah.I am also very well by the grace of the Almighty Allah,Alhamdulillah for that.I am a teacher by profession, a volunteer blood donor. I am a housewife, and alongside that, I am a student and a blogger.Today I am going to participate in a "SFS Contest Picture of the Day Week 42" . competition among you. First of all I want to thank @ashkhan mam for organizing such a beautiful and interesting competition.So let's get started!

In this picture, everyone we see is my family. Actually, this day was a small birthday celebration for my son Rihan, whose birthday falls on June 17. However, I never celebrate birthdays because it is better not to do so according to our Muslim Sharia. But this year, Rihan was insisting a lot on having a cake to cut it, so I organized a party for all the family members on June 15 to keep his little wish.

Only my family members were present at this event. In the picture, my brother-in-law, Sami (my elder sister's husband), and their three children, my two younger sisters, and my elder sister's younger son were also present. Since I organized a small gathering to take care of Rihan in a homely manner, I didn't have many plans for that day. For Rihan’s interests, I had arranged two birthday cakes and cooked his favorite biryani, and I also bought some gifts for him.

I went to the market in the afternoon and bought various items from a confectionery and then returned home. In the evening, I, along with the kids, was sitting with balloons. We blew up balloons of different colors, tied them with strings, and decorated the room. When we let the balloons go, we had a lot of fun. We do so much just to see the smiles on the children's faces. I really enjoyed that day, and my son Rihan had a great time too.

Rihan is my only son. Allah has blessed me with a son, who has come into my lap as a light and is my most precious gift from Allah. Every parent strives to keep a smile on their child's face and to always keep them happy, especially for mothers of firstborns, as the first child is a bit more special to us. Through the first child, we women hear the word "mother," which brings peace to our hearts.
