introduce of hip-hop (birthday of hip-hop)
Hip Hop is a cultural movement that began to grow around 1970's developed by Afro-American and Latin-American communities. Hip Hop is a very dynamic mix between elements consisting of MCing (better known rapping), DJing, Breakdance, and Graffiti. Lately Hip Hop elements are also colored by beatboxing, fashion, slang, and other lifestyles.
Initially the growth of Hip Hop started from The Bronx in New York City and continues to grow rapidly to the whole world. Hip hop was first introduced by an Afro-American, Grandmaster Flash and The Furious Five. Initially Hip Hop music is only filled with music from Disk Jockey by making fariasi from round the disc to produce unique sounds. "Rapping" is then present to fill the vocals of the sounds. As for the choreography, the music is then filled with a broken dance known as breakdance. In its development Hip Hop is also considered a part of art and to express the visual arts came Graffiti as a part of the Hip Hop culture.
History
1520 Sedwick Avenue is an area in New York that claimed to be the birthplace of the HipHop community. "This is where we come from," said Clive Campbell, one of the people who left the first floor at his home as a base for gathering. "The culture of Hip Hop originated and was born here, which will be scattered throughout the world, here we are barasal because we do not have anywhere else to meet, not elsewhere" he replied. In addition to the name, there is also the name of DJ Kool Herc who introduced the turntable at that time in a party in 1973. At the beginning of his performance, DJ Kool Herc performed songs from James Brown, Jimmy Castor, and Babe Rooth. It was Kool Herc who finally created the scratch and the strange sounds that gave rise to a tremendous sensation at the time.
HipHop feels incomplete without MC. This gap is seen by Melle Mel, the first MC in the world of Hip Hop. Melle Mel initially felt confused about what he would say in his first appearance, but because he had been filled with boredom with the rules of the restrained government, Melle Mel finally released his resentment to the government and his view of life through the lyrics. From then on HipHop music tells more about life around the black community and the shouts and protests of their conscience to the government that prevails unfairly. Hip Hop music lyrics tend to be hard and firm. That's Hip Hop.
Hip Hop as a culture was clarified again in 1983 by Black Spades who was a member of Afrika Bambaataa and The Soulsonic Force through a track entitled "Planet Rock". This song is an interesting Hip Hop music because it has a blend of simple rap and disco music rhythm created through electronic drums and synthesizers. In 1985 acting with stereo technology, Run DMC, LL Cool J, The Fat Boys, Herbie Hancock, Soulsonic Force, Jazzy Jaz, and Stetsasonic are releasing their flagship albums to become Hip Hop music legends to date.
Great article! Good to read about the origins of the art form
