Contest: We Are One – The Power of Humanity

Often we do not think that we, each of us can make a changes in out big society, because we say that we are small and not important person and how we can change the world or make the politician to hear our opinion.
It is indeed not so easy and many just do not want to do that step, because initial step is always hard and maybe not always successful, but if none of us will dear what will happen to all of us.
Everything should have its start and sometimes even small, it is important to be kind and supported, listen to others even if you do not share the opinion, just try to understand first what it is and think if there is any sense in our opinion and if there are people sharing them too.
People are selfish and modern society has more people who think about their own benefits, maybe because the life is better and we have more opportunities to reach what we want. I believe we have to think about everyone as valuable part of society and that everyone could contribute into it but also to give a chance to many to express their opinion. Maybe that will make it easy to listen and not only to speak and listen to ourselves.
In that case I can imagine it like in Star Trek where people are completely different. They live like one species, interested in the wealth and wellbeing of everyone and chances equal for everyone to live, study, work and contribute as they want. When there are no wars and conflicts then people concentrate on improvement of their life condition and circumstances. I often wonder how far we are from it and if we ever will be able to reach at least very little toward that.
