Hello my dear steemit friends . I hope you are all well by the grace of Allah, I am also well Alhamdulillah. Wishing all the members of this community are having a great day. Today I’m here to participate in the contest Contest : Weekly Diary game for week 18 of 2025 competition run by Hindwhale Community I am very happy to be able to participate in this competition.

🏵️THE DIARY GAME 🏵️

It was Sunday. Early in the morning, I woke up and offered the Fajr prayer. After finishing the prayer, I realized there was still plenty of time before going to college. I was feeling a bit sleepy, so I set an alarm on my phone and went back to sleep. Around 6:30, when I woke up, I saw that it was raining heavily outside. But despite the rain, I had no choice — today there was a debate program at college. If I didn’t go, my team would lose without a contest. So without wasting any time, I headed out into the rain.

On the road, I noticed that the surroundings looked very beautiful because of the rain. The streets were wet and glistening. Around seven o’clock, I reached the stop and saw that the college bus had arrived despite the rain. Without delay, I got on the bus. One of the best conveniences of using the college bus is that you don’t have to worry about anything. I get on from the first stop, and as soon as I board, I usually fall asleep, and they wake me up when we reach college.

Because of the rain today, there wasn’t the usual traffic on the roads. So, the bus arrived at college quite early. After reaching college, when I entered the classroom, I saw that no one was there yet. My friend from the Intermediate class and I sat in the room and started chatting. Though we were together in Intermediate, now he’s in a different department — a regular student of the Islamic Studies department. Like me, he also comes here from Mirpur. As we chatted, the time for class approached. As soon as class was about to begin, he went off to his classroom, and we started working on our tasks.

Today we had our third class with Nasir Uddin Sir. No one really wants to attend his class; everyone tends to be inattentive. Sir teaches us about British Indian history. His teaching style is quite different from others—he keeps giving lectures nonstop. Listening to his lectures, we all start to feel bored. Today, he suddenly called on a few students from the front row to recite their lessons. We were surprised by this unexpected action.

After class, we stayed back in the classroom and chatted.A student named Jihad had brought some guavas from home and shared them with all of us. During that time, various discussions were going on among us. We decided that we would make team jerseys, and everyone sat together choosing the colors. After finishing this plan, we started preparing for the debate.

I hadn’t spoken with my team before the debate, so we sat outside to finalize our positions. When we arrived at the venue, we saw that one of our opponents was from our class. His name is Abul Ahsan. We have a friendly relationship, but today he was on the opposing team. He’s a very skilled debater.

Then our debate began. Today’s debate topic was: “Inter-cadre disparity is the main obstacle to building a modern Bangladesh.” Through the toss, we were placed on the opposition side. All three members of our team debated very well. With arguments and counterarguments, our team emerged victorious. Since joining the debating club, this was my fifth debate. Compared to other days, I was able to speak much more fluently today. The best speaker of today’s debate was Sumon Hossain. After winning, we took selfies with our teammates.

After the debate, we all went to stand in front of the auditorium. Many members of the debating club were present there. There was an extensive discussion about going on an educational tour from the debating club. After the discussion ended, everyone started preparing to go home.

Among the six participants in today’s debate, three of us were from the Political Science Department. So, the three of us friends stood together and took pictures. I have a dream of taking myself to greater heights through debating in the future. Please keep me in your prayers so that this dream comes true.

After finishing all the college programs, I went home. After coming home, I had lunch. After finishing my meal, I slept to relieve the fatigue of my body. I woke up and offered the afternoon prayer. When I came to my room after the afternoon prayer, I looked out the window and saw white clouds in the blue sky. The sky was completely cloudy in the morning, but after the rain, the sky cleared up a bit in the afternoon. It was very beautiful to see such a shape of the sky. Whoever sees such an environment will be filled with joy.
