I am standing at the highest point.

Lalmai Hill is a symbol of heritage and natural beauty in the district of Comilla in our country. This hill is located in Comilla Sadar, Sadar Dakshin and Barura Upazilas. It is 11 miles long in the north-south direction and 2 miles wide in the east-west direction and the soil of the hill is red, hence its name Lalmai. Its height is often 50 feet. In addition to the red soil of Lalmai Hill, there is dense vegetation on the mountain and some are empty.

Living and houses on Lalmai Hill

It is estimated that this hill was formed about 2.5 million years ago in the Pleistocene era, but it is said that a king had two daughters, one daughter was named Lalmati and the other daughter was named Mainamati, after whom these Lalmai and Mainamati hills have been named.

When we climb to the top of the mountain and take pictures together

Currently, due to lack of proper maintenance and supervision, this heritage is in the stage of destruction, unscrupulous land grabbers are cutting and selling the soil of this hill. In addition, the soil is being cut and made into agricultural land, and houses are being built there as a place to live.

The interior of the Adinamura Shrine

However, there is a shrine on the hill, it is located in a place called Adinamura, and many people come to pray in this middle. However, to get to the shrine, you have to climb up the stairs. There are many shops for food and houses for accommodation.

Many people travel to Lalmai Hill, but since this hill is red, it is also very beautiful to look at. It is very easy to reach this hill from a place called Comilla Kotbari and the roads are very good, so many tourists come here.

Jackfruit and various fruit trees on Lalmai Hill

*It takes about 30 minutes to reach this place by rickshaw from the city, but the rickshaw fare is about 150-17 taka. Since there is no charge to enter this hill, it is open to everyone. There are many types of fruit trees on the hill, there are jackfruit trees.*

Amazing beauty from the top of the mountain

Although there are many types of hills in our country, this red hill is only in the Comilla district, so the tourist attraction of this hill is a little more. There are many tourist centers and colleges, universities and places to stay a little further from this hill. It seems to highlight the beauty of nature on the hill. Anyone who sees Lalmai Hill will love it. It is one of the most beautiful mountains in our country.

🛖There are no weekends

⏰There is no specific time to go to the mountain.

💰There is no entrance fee.

Sir, I learned this from your post.

  • If I want to make a post for Steem Atlas, I must review a specific place. Such as popular tourist attractions, famous restaurants, places of worship, parks, hospitals, schools, colleges, shops, shopping centers, museums, zoos, and many other interesting places.
  • Temporary places should not be written about in Steem Atlas, such as trucks or street vendors that do not live in a specific location, night markets or festivals that only last a few days. Places that do not need to be reviewed should not be listed in Steem Atlas as they do not have much appeal

  • It supports your own photos there, it doesn't support any internet photos, it looks better if you put your own selfie there.

  • You can use as many images as you want in the Steem Atlas, but the image description must match the details

  • When you go to a restaurant, park, etc., you can highlight the costs there, along with opening times, weekends, and links to various social media. The more you can show, the better it will be.

  • Steem Atlas and Google Maps must be marked at the same location.

  • When providing a location pin, you must provide the name of the place, refrain from providing anything else, and use the name of the place that is available on Google.

You have learned well, please edit your post and improve the part that you think is not appropriate to get a bigger vote prize.

Additional suggestions, the first photo should be a condition photo or front view of the place you want to review. secondly, avoid using too many personal photos.

Congratulations! This post has been upvoted through steemcurator08. We support quality posts, good comments anywhere, and any tags.

Thank you very much. Yes, it is true that it is a pleasure to spend time in this place from the busy city or to live for a few days, but the green trees and nature on the mountains are truly enchanting.
