What is more important in life – Success or Happiness?

Can a person be truly happy without being successful in society’s eyes?

Happiness and success are two important aspirations of human life. Before discussing these two, let us define happiness and success.
Happiness means where there is unbreakable joy, trust, and complete trust in the family. Where one's sorrow makes the other sad, and one's happiness makes the other happy. There may or may not be abundance there. But if there is definitely peace in the family, that is what I will call happiness.

I am a happy man with my family

On the other hand, success is a tool that can be achieved at different stages of life. There is no such thing as failure in life. The work of a successful person is a success.

A person works hard for happiness and success throughout his life. Some people achieve both, but most people achieve success where there is no happiness. Again, it can also be observed that he has got a lot of happiness in life but there is nothing to call success in his life.
Success has nothing to do with happiness. It cannot be said that happiness will come only if you achieve success. Again, success is not necessary for happiness.
In our society, we see many successful people who are unhappy in their personal lives. They walk with great respect in society and the country, but in their personal lives, they lack the means to be happy.
Again, they live in dilapidated huts, despite being faced with failure at every stage of life, there has been no problem of happiness in the family. They are living a beautiful and happy life with their family members. Therefore, I would say that happiness and success are not the same. There is no obligation to achieve success to feel happy, and again, it is not said that only success will make you happy.

Do you believe success automatically brings happiness, or are they two separate things?

I do not believe that success automatically brings happiness. I believe that success and happiness are two different things. Success may play a big role in feeling happy. But it cannot bring happiness. Success cannot bring comfort to the family. Success can bring respect but not happiness.
To bring happiness, mutual bonding, trust in each other, love, affection, sincerity, empathy are needed. Which has nothing to do with success. A person may not be successful in life but he has a happy life in the family. As I say in my own words. I have not achieved much success in the battle of life. I have taken many big steps but in the end, I could not succeed. But I live a happy life with my family and children. So, I will say again that success can never bring happiness automatically.

If you had to choose only one — a happy life with simple living or a successful life with stress — which would you pick and why?

"A happy life with simple living or a successful life with stress" - If I have to choose between these two, I would like to be happy with a simple life. A happy life is the success of a person. We make many efforts in the hope of a little happiness. Our lifelong aspiration is for happiness.

On the other hand, even if we achieve success, an unhappy life with various pressures cannot be desirable for us. Success that does not contain happiness cannot be called success. Success without happiness can be called failure. That is why I want to be happy with a simple life. This is the success of life, this is our self-interest.
