Good day, my dear friends, I am very happy today because my son and daughter-in-law returned to be with us with their 7-month-old baby. Baby is very active and kneeling everywhere; therefore, someone should be behind him. I've already decided to devote all of my leisure time to our child. When I get time, I'll share my blog with you, because my grandson is my priority. Therefore, from here, I may not be very active on this platform, as earlier.

As usual, today I have come here to participate in the power-up competition organized by my beloved friend @jyoti-the light.

Normally, when I have a considerable amount of liquid STEEM in my wallet, I power it up into STEEM Power. Because Steem Power is the key component of this platform, I can make a significant impact on this platform if I have more of it in my wallet. Not only that, it helps to maintain my club status. Furthermore, when I have more Steem Power in my wallet, my vote has more weight. Additionally, I'm getting a very significant curation prize. My reputation also improved when I had more Steem power in my wallet. When I power up my liquid STEEM into STEEM power, it is like a savings investment. Because of all these reasons, power-up has become more significant on this platform.

Power up Process

Today, by participating in this contest, I decided to power up 200 of my liquid Steem into Steem Power.
First of all, I logged on to the wallet, providing my private posting key. Next, I clicked the mouse key on Steem to start my powering-up process. Next, I clicked my mouse on the power-up button to start my power-up, as shown below.

As the convert to STEEM POWER image appeared, I typed 200 in the amount column and pressed the power-up button as shown below.

As the "Confirm Transfer of Vesting image appeared, I confirmed it by clicking the OK button, as shown below.

Next, given my active key, I sign to complete the transfer.

Here, now you can see my liquid steem has gone down to 62.008, and STEEM power has increased to 15291.007.
