Hi guys, I hope you all are fine. Today once again I'm participating in the Power Up and Win contest organized by my lovely friend @jyoti-thelight.

Importance of power up

If you ask me why I am doing power-ups every week, the answer is simple. Steem power is the most important component of this platform. When we have more steem in our wallet, we can have a big influence on this platform. As well, our votes have more weight; this will help other Steemians who get a vote from me. Another thing is I can gain a big curation award. Not only that, it is like an investment. I can maintain my club status. As well as my reputation going high. Therefore, every time I have much liquid steem in my wallet, I power it up into steem power.

Power up process

Let’s begin my power-up process. I know by this time everyone knows how to do it, but according to the contest rules, I have to demonstrate it.

My wallet before power up.

As you can see, I currently have 13397.726 steem and 119.761 liquid steem in my wallet. I decided to convert 100 of my liquid steem into steem power by taking part in this competition.

Yes, I started my power-up procedure by opening my wallet, pressing the arrow on Steem, and then pressing the power-up button, as shown below.

As the "convert to STEEM POWER" image appeared, I typed 100 in the amount column and pressed the power-up button as shown below to continue my procedure.

Then, pressing the 'ok' button, I confirm the transfer of vesting. Next, providing my active key, I completed my transfer.

My wallet after power up

As you can see, my wallet's liquid STEEM has dropped to 19.761, and its steem power has now risen to 13497.752.

I would like to invite @ruthjoe, @radleking, and @damithudaya to participate in this contest and gain the benefits of the aforementioned.

Thank you very much for reading my post.
