Surovi Uddan, Rangpur, Bangladesh

First of all, I would like to thank @abdullahw2 brother for organizing such a beautiful contest. Today, I am going to pin my favorite place, Collectorate Surbhi Udyan, this park in Rangpur on steem atlas. There is this park called Collectorate Surbhi Udyan in our Rangpur city. The special thing about this park is that there is no entry fee, that is, entry is completely free. There are many benches for refugees to sit here and there are many trees in and around the park, due to which there is always a lot of shade inside the park. There is also a place to sit with the family in this park. Apart from this, there are many flowers and fruit trees in this park.

The Collectorate ground is located on 5 acres of land in Radhaballab Mouja of Rangpur city. Cricket grounds are located on both the north and south sides of this ground and this Surbhi Udyan is located in the middle. There are about 5 to 6 hundred species of different species of trees and various types of flowering plants in this park. It is open from 9 am to 6 pm. There is also a huge pond in this park. Its foundation was laid in 1990 by the Deputy Commissioner Mr. ASM Mobaidul Islam. In 1998, the trees were planted and enhanced by the Deputy Commissioner Mr. Moazzem Hossain. In January 2014, the main gate was constructed and playground equipment was added by the Deputy Commissioner Mr. Farid Ahmed. This park is mainly for jogging. There is a beautiful road with four lanes for jogging here.

After entering this park called Collectorate Suravi Udyan, on the left side, you will see a pillar called Smart Rangpur, which was built very recently in 2024. Smart Citizen, Smart Economy, Smart Society and Smart Environment are highlighted on both sides of this pillar. In the middle of it, it has been decorated with the map of Bangladesh and the memorials of Smart and Young Soldiers, Smart Transportation, Smart Agriculture, Smart Cooperative for Women, Smart Green Clean City and Smart Healthcare. In a word, this pillar has highlighted the entire Smart Bangladesh. This pillar has greatly increased the beauty of this park.

After entering this park called Collectorate Suravi Udyan, you will see two pillars on the right hand side. One of which is I Love Rangpur, which was built on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of Bangladesh's independence in 2021. This pillar has a map of Bangladesh and I Love Rangpur written in front of it. And there is a sitting area in front of it. Then if you go a little further to the right, there is another big pillar. And this big pillar is the pillar of the list of names of martyred freedom fighters of Rangpur district. Also, there are many things for people to exercise in this park. There is a place for push-ups and many other exercise equipment.

There are many equipment for young children to play in this Collectorate Surbhi Udyan. There are several other equipment for children to play, including sleepers, swings, which allow young children to spend a lot of time here. And in this garden there is a place called Golgajar, which has seating facilities both below and above. The stairs and upper part of this Golgajar are made of iron grills. I like this garden very much because I can enter Rangpur city for free and spend time in such a green and noise-free environment.
