Every year during the month of Ramadan, we try to organize an Iftar party with everyone in our building. Although we are people of different religions living in this building, we try to organize an Iftar party together. This year, we are thinking of having an Iftar party. But due to lack of opportunity, we could not decide on the day of the party. Finally, we all decided to have a meeting tomorrow evening. And on Friday evening, we decided to organize an Iftar party. From that thought, we all divided the work according to our own and decided to organize an Iftar party tomorrow.

Since I will be making onion bada for iftar. So after eating sehri, I soak the dal to make onion bada. After washing the dal well, I offer Fajr prayers. In the month of Ramadan, after eating sehri and sleeping, I wake up a little late in the morning. After waking up, I complete other household chores. In between, I wake up my two sons and make them breakfast. Since they are not fasting, I prepare lunch and breakfast for them together. Today we have an iftar party and I have to be at the iftar party in the afternoon. That is why I complete my cooking for the whole day in the afternoon. Then I prepare the soaked dal for the iftar party.Since I will be making onion bada for iftar. So after eating sehri, I soak the dal to make onion bada. After offering Asr prayer, I went to the roof with the necessary ingredients to complete the cooking for the Iftar party. When I went to the roof, I saw that everyone had come to organize the Iftar party on the roof. The children were the first to arrive to enjoy. First, we put the chickpeas on the stove to cook. Since today was Friday, everyone was at home and everyone was able to participate in the Iftar party.

Before the call to Iftar, we completed all the cooking and sat down to have Iftar. Although no one at the Iftar party except me and my husband was fasting, everyone sat down together and had Iftar with us. InshaAllah, we will all organize an Iftar party like this again in the coming Ramadan.
