Assalamu Alaikum to all of my steemian friends.Today I am going participate this contest, HWC contest #174 || Add your favorite locations to the Steem Atlas. Thank you @jyoti-thelight for organizing such as beautiful contest.
I went to Piyarpur railway station to reach Chittagong from Piyarpur. At that time I captured some pictures of Piyarpur railway station. I will share my experience of that Piyarpur railway station.
In 1894, the Dhaka State Railway Authority extended the railway line from Mymensingh to Jamalpur. At that time, the Piyarpur railway station was established as a station on this line. Piyarpur railway station is located in Jamalpur district, in the Mymensingh division.

Since its establishment, the Piyarpur railway station has not been touched by modernity. The station is still running like the old days. There are benches made of cement for the passengers waiting at the station to sit. The passenger shelter is very small. Whereas most of the railway stations display the train schedule through multimedia projectors. However, the Piarpur railway station still has the train schedule and train fare chart hanging. From where the passenger can know the train schedule of the up and down trains and the train fare.

Local and mail train ticket counters still have to stand in line to buy tickets. About 12 trains pass through this station. "Agniveena" and "Jamalpur Express" trains do not stop at this station when they pass through the station. Since the area of this station is very small. So the amount of goods in this station is less, there is a store room next to the ticket counter to store the necessary goods of the station.

There is a breastfeeding corner at Piyarpur railway station which I was really happy to see. Which is very necessary for breast-feeding children. Women waiting for the train can complete other necessary tasks (prayer) in this corner, starting from breastfeeding their children.

There is a washroom next to the breast milk corner. Although there is no separate washroom for men and women. The Brahmaputra River is next to the Piyarpur railway station. Therefore, the amount of sand in this railway station is high. Most of the passengers come and wash their hands and feet in the washroom, so the washroom remains unclean and muddy.

All the photos were taken at night and there was poor lighting at the station.
