Dear Diary,
I am a few days late in sharing my diary game because I am busy and sick. The diary game I am sharing today is from 1st April 2025. Even though it is 5 days old, I want to share this diary game with you because here I can show you some wonderful highlights of my day which were undoubtedly the best activities of my week. I have shared with you before that I came to the village. After waking up, I saw a dead insect on the mosquito net. Even after being dead, it was stuck tightly to the cloth. So I was able to take a nice photograph of it. If you know the name of this insect, please let me know in the comments.

After breakfast, I met a centenarian from our village. I had my elder sister with me. We have been seeing him since childhood because he is our neighbour. Currently, he cannot talk much because of her age and his health is not good due to old age. We asked him for blessings. He was as happy to see us as we were to meet him.

On the way back home from there, we saw a woman drying many chillies in the sun. These will be powdered and used in cooking. I really liked seeing these red-dried chillies. We cannot see such a scene in the city. We must go to the village to see such a scene. Some of my childhood was spent in the village, so these give me a lot of joy and bring back memories of my childhood. After drying them in the sun, they will be prepared into powder with the help of a machine. The woman who was drying them lives in Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh, so she was doing this work the day after Eid.
Can you tell which tree seeds are these by looking at these pictures? Locally, the seeds of this tree are called Pitraj tree seeds. When I was a child, my friends used to play with these seeds. However, I have no memory of playing with them, but they are very familiar to me. After a long time, I saw them and collected some seeds from under the tree. They have a colourful layer on them. After removing the layer, the seeds look like this. You have to play with them like playing marbles. I cannot share with you how to play because I cannot remember clearly. When I was a child, this tree was very rare in our village.

There is a small tea stall like this on the way to our village. People gather here in the evening and stay here till late at night to drink tea. Many people from the village come here and discuss various topics and watch movies on television. Although the benches are empty during the day, they are full of men at night. Women do not go to these stalls. In fact, in our village, women do not go out of the house after evening.

Then we went to our cousin's house in one of the areas. His house is very beautiful and some grass has been cultivated near the main gate of the house. This grass is very useful for cattle. I have not seen such a grass field anywhere else in my village. The height of the grass is higher than my height. They have dug a small pond nearby and keep domestic and Chinese ducks there. We bought two Chinese ducks and some domestic ducks from here. We mainly came to this house to see the ducks. We saw the ducks near the gate and did not go inside the house and returned from there.

I can't take cat photos because when I try to capture a cat on my camera, the cat runs away. Today, I managed to take several photos of this cat, but I will share with you a funny picture of it. You will understand from this picture that cats are actually quite clever. The cat was looking at my camera and I was able to capture it. This picture is really funny, isn't it?

In the afternoon we went to a local market. There was a raw market shop where vegetables, betel leaves and other groceries were available. We bought chocolates and chips from there. Then we saw a small van selling jhal muri and guava. We ate guava with spices from there and the kids ate jhal muri. Guava from here costs at least 10 BDT or about 1 steam. However, its taste was average. Before returning home, I drank mango juice. My nephew gave it to me so I don't know its market price.

I tried shadow photography at night today. Although I am not good at it, I tried to take a great photo. However, the shadow photography there did not come out well because it was very dark. At first, I thought it was all dark, but while sharing, I noticed that there was a little shadow here. This is the outer wall of our house, which is painted white, and the shadows of the trees opposite it are visible in it. It was an incredibly beautiful view up close.
