Ramna Park

I will participate in Hindwhale community's @abdullahw2 brother's contest via Steem-atlas map. Today, I will write about Ramna Park, an entertainment centre in Dhaka City, the capital of our country. Ramna Park consists of a large area. Ramna Park is about 68.5 acres. Our Dhaka city is a populous city. There are very few entertainment places for people in Dhaka city. The development of Ramna Park started during the British rule. Later, Ramna Park was developed while Dhaka was developing. Ramna Park is especially popular for morning walks. Ramna Park is the heritage site of Dhaka. Every year Bengali New Year is organized at Ramna Batamul. Today is our country's Bengali New Year, so I came to Ramna Park to celebrate Bengali New Year.

Location of Ramna Park:
Ramna Park is situated in the heart of Dhaka. The park is located at the southern edge of Dhaka city, specifically in Ramna. The Supreme Court of Bangladesh is located next to Ramna Park. I have shown below the location of Ramna Park via the Steem-atlas map.

Some memories of my trip to Ramna Park:
I left home at 6.00 am for Ramna Park. As today is Bengali New Year in our country, many people come to Ramna Batamul in the early morning. Security forces surround Ramna Park. I entered through the first gate of Ramna Park. Then, I see a banner with names of different parts of Ramna Park. By looking at the Ramna Park banner, I identified the activities inside. Then, I walked inside Ramna Park.

As today is Bengali New Year, many people come to Ramna Park. I first go to Ramna Batamul. Ramna Park has huge banyan trees. A cultural program has been organized today under the biggest banyan tree in Ramna Park. I first went to see the cultural program under the banyan tree. Today, the people of our country watch cultural programs under banyan trees on TV. I took a few pictures with my mobile Zoom from far away. It is not possible to go under the Ramna Bot tree because thousands of people have participated in the cultural program.

Then, after watching the cultural program at Batamul for some time, I visited different parts of the park. The entire Ramna Park is full of people today. I sometimes walk under the big trees in the park and take pictures. Our Dhaka city has very few plants as there are huge buildings all around. However, when I arrived at Ramna Park, I saw huge trees. Every tree has its branches spread all around. I saw a very beautiful scene in Ramna Park.

Then, I headed to the lake in Ramna Park. Another beauty of Ramna Park is the lake. A bridge has been provided for people to walk over Ramna Lake. I walked across the lake bridge. The lake in Ramna Park is very big. I reached the other side of the lake with a lot of time. There is Ramna Park on both sides of the lake. I went to the other side of the lake and saw more beautiful trees. I stood under the tree and took many pictures.

Students from Dhaka city schools, colleges, and universities visit Ramna Park during the day. Besides, people enter the park for exercise in the morning and afternoon. I have been to Ramna Park a few times before. I once went to the hospital in Dhaka to see my doctor. Then I went to Ramna Park to spend about three hours. Today, a fair is held at one end of Ramna Park. I go to fairs and buy toys for my son and daughter.

Entry with food is prohibited in Ramna Park, which is always patrolled by law and order forces to provide security. Birds live in the big trees of Ramna Park. Some people visit Ramna Park to escape the traffic and noise of Dhaka city. A variety of local traditions have taken place at the fair today. I travelled to Ramna Park for about three hours. Then, I left Ramna Park at noon and returned home.
