The Diary Game | A Simple Day with Nature, Lassi & Love

Today I want to share something simple but very refreshing.
It’s not a big event, but these little moments make our life beautiful, right? 😊

🛻 A Small Drive to the Village Side

So today in the morning, me and my husband went for a little drive around Wah Cantt, and from there we went a bit inside the village area.
We didn’t plan it, we just thought let's go somewhere peaceful and quiet.
And this village side was just so calm and green, I felt so relaxed while watching everything.

As we entered the area, we saw tall sugarcane plants, small farms, and narrow roads.

Everything looked so natural and peaceful.
The trees were dancing slowly with the wind, and the clouds in the sky were also very beautiful and soft.

I took many pictures from the car window while we were passing, because I wanted to capture the peaceful mood of the village.

🥛 The Lassi Surprise

While we were slowly going ahead, one uncle from the village waved at us.
My husband stopped the car and they started talking.

He looked so friendly and humble, and guess what?
He brought out a big bowl of chilled lassi (buttermilk) for us. 💙
He gave it specially for my husband but my husband kept it safely to drink later.
He said, “We’ll go home and drink it fresh with something yummy.”
So sweet, right?

🍲 Back Home with Mutton Karhai

After enjoying the village views and taking lots of photos of trees, fields, plants, and roads — we returned home.
I was feeling so fresh and happy, like my mind had reset from the usual tiredness. 💆‍♀️

Then we made a nice plan to complete this lassi moment properly.
My husband went straight to the kitchen and started cooking mutton karhai.
The smell was so amazing that I couldn’t wait! 😋

After some time, we had a beautiful meal together —
spicy mutton karhai with roti and the chilled lassi which we got from the village.

It was a perfect combo! 😍

💭 Final Thoughts

I really love how such small random things like this lassi gift, a simple drive, or watching peaceful views can give us joy.
We don’t always need big plans to feel happy.

I’m also sharing pictures from our day —
you’ll see the green fields, trees, the calm village roads, and of course the delicious mutton and the creamy white lassi.
