Hi Friends, I am Jyoti from India. Here I would like to share my experience of shopping at a nearby supermarket in our town; I hope you read and like it.

Yesterday , I went to the department store in our town to purchase items along with my daughter. The items were beautifully and neatly arranged for customers to select. They had a separate section for each item, which made it very convenient for me to choose the items I needed.

Near the entrance, there were some items that would attract children and women. In particular, there were toys and various clay lamps that were colored and designed very beautifully. It was very beautiful to see, but I did not need any of them, so I did not buy anything. The lamps were used only during festivals; now they are used as a decorative item. It is very beautiful to see the clay lamps that were colored and decorated in a way that suits them. The artistry of the people is evident.

The next section had soap types and shampoo, napkins, liquid items, washing liquid items, hair conditioners, etc. There are also branded soaps like Liril, Lux, Detol, Dove, Medimix, Santoor, Pears, Hamam, etc. My son likes Lux brand soap very much, so I choose some of it. My husband likes Liril soap, which is his favorite. I picked both brand soaps and put them in the trolley, because I like both of them.

Next, I went to the section where I needed spices. There were pulses, spices, herbs, dry fruits, and nuts. I looked at the ingredients needed for cooking and took what I needed. The grocery section had tamarind, which adds flavor to cooking. And breads. There were two types of products: one was brand-name products packed in bags, and the other was products purchased directly from local farmers for sale as retail products. I looked at both of them and took the products I needed.

They use very innovative business strategies in such department stores. The next section was for stationery items, where notebooks, pens, colored pencils, crayons, and files needed by children and office supplies were kept, and in between they had arranged some toys. When adults go shopping with children, the children's eyes fall on those toys, so the children ask them to buy them, and then the adults buy them. This is a very commendable business strategy.

The next section had utensils, in which I had to buy some utensils such as nonstick wares, cooker, but I didn't buy them at that moment, but I thought I could buy them later, so I bought a tiffin box to pack my son's lunch and a small tiffin box for snacks. There, they had a variety of non-stick tiffin boxes in many different designs, and they had spoons, shelves, and cookers.

This department store is very close to our area. We can buy all the things we need under one roof. The price is reasonable, so there will be no confusion in looking at the items; we can select the necessary items quickly, and there will be more workers, so our time will not be wasted in building or packing anywhere. This department store is very suitable for buying the necessary items at the time we need them; it is very useful for the people in this area.
