The Diary game. Spring Showers, Gucci Hunts, and Quiet Evenings

in Hindwhale Community9 days ago

Greetings, dear friends, how are you all? I hope you all are fine and enjoying your day. I wish for you all good health, wealth and a prosperous time ahead. Today I am here to share with you yet another day of my life and I hope you all will get time to read and know about one more day of my life and also find it worthwhile to read and vote.

The rain had been falling steadily for the last couple of days, bringing with it a noticeable drop in temperature. In the valley of Kashmir, every rainfall tends to usher in a chill that stirs memories of the long winters we endure. Given our location at a high altitude, even a slight dip in temperature becomes a valid reason to return to warm clothes and heavy quilts—despite it being mid-spring.

I woke up early in the morning and got ready for the morning prayers. After performing ablution, I headed to the nearby mosque. Starting the day with peace and spiritual clarity filled me with positive energy, which carried me through the rest of the day, helping me face challenges calmly and with a positive attitude. After the prayers, I made supplications and then returned home.

Because of the ongoing rain, I anticipated that the outer parts of the village would be muddy. It turned out to be a wise decision not to go for a walk in the orchards. Instead, I opted to do some physical exercises at home. Feeling satisfied with my workout, I took some rest, followed by a hot shower. Afterwards, I joined my parents for breakfast.

Meanwhile, the sun emerged, and it was truly heartwarming to see bright sunshine after a couple of gloomy days. It felt like a new ray of hope breaking through the clouds. Soon after, I had to get ready for the office. I quickly got dressed and left for the village where I have been posted.

When I set off for the office, just outside my house I noticed some children climbing the hill. That surprised me at first, but within a few moments, I realized they had gone there in search of mushrooms. These particular mushrooms, known locally as Gucci, grow during the spring season and are quite valuable due to their medicinal properties. A good number of people can be seen searching for these mushrooms during this time of year.

Usually, shepherds come across a good quantity of them because they spend much of their time wandering along the hill slopes. These mushrooms hold considerable economic value and remain in demand throughout the season.

The day at the office went well. I completed some leftover work and handled a few tasks, including registering beneficiaries for certain flagship schemes. I also forwarded the priority plan for developmental works, which we had prepared a few days earlier, to the main office. From there, it would be sent to the district administration in a compiled format.

After finishing my usual tasks at the office, I headed home later in the day. On my way back, it began to rain again—this time accompanied by hailstones. It was quite worrying, as hail can damage the blossoms of fruit trees. Thankfully, the hailstorm lasted only a few minutes and didn’t cause any major harm.

Later in the day, when I reached home, I freshened up first. After having a cup of tea, I stepped outside to check what was wrong with the decorative plants I had planted in the bases just outside the corridor. I took some remedial measures, and I’m now hopeful that the plants will recover in the coming days.

In the evening, I visited the main market of the village, where I met some friends who had also come to spend some time together before the evening prayers. On my way back home, I bought some groceries. And with that, I ended my day.

It was all about my day.Thank you for going through my post. Have a great time ahead.
