The diary game. “From Orchard Mornings to Office Hours: A Day Well Spent”
Hello, dear friends! How is everyone doing? I hope you are all well and enjoying your time with your loved ones, no matter where you are. Today, I want to share another day of my life with you all. I hope you find some time to read my post and that you find it enjoyable enough to upvote.
I am an early bird. Usually, I get up very early in the day to start my day early and have maximum time to accomplish my tasks. Upon getting up, I verified myself by performing ablution and then went to offer the prayer and start my day by paying the religious dues that we have been guided to by our religion. As such, I began the day with some peace, prosperity, and a vibe of positivity. After I was done with the prayers, I made some applications and then headed back towards my place and straightaway got into some gardening work. I first watered the lawn to make it soft, and then looked for any weeds that could have grown and removed them to ensure the lawn remained beautiful. After I was done with watering and removing the weeds, I put the plants in their appropriate places—some needed to be kept in the shade and some in the sun.
Then, I went to burn some calories and have a cursory review of the apples that we have been growing and putting our hard work into throughout the year. I went to one of our nearest orchards located at the periphery of the village. I spent some time there, making good use of my time not only to burn calories by jogging and moving around but also by having a closer look at the apples that are to be harvested in a few days from now. Upon returning from the orchard, I went into the dining room to get together with my parents and had my breakfast there.
After I was done with breakfast, I got ready and left for my new office. As I have been posted in the district headquarters, I needed to be there on time because any delay could lead to show cause notices from the higher-ups. Upon reaching there, I got into my work. Fortunately, the other colleague had also arrived on time, and we were able to finish a major chunk of the work that had been assigned to us—and it wasn’t easy either. I was exhausted throughout the day.
Later in the day, I left the office a little early and had to wait for my friend, who works in another office, to pick him up too, as part of a commitment we have made—not only to save fuel but also to enjoy our time together. While I was on my way back, I saw my maternal uncles in their orchard harvesting apples. I stopped by and spent some time there, enjoyed a few apples, and added something to my experience. As we have some orchards too, I need to learn different things from different people to be successful in farming.
Later, I returned home quite exhausted, and only after taking a cup of tea, I took a nap to refresh myself. At around 7 PM, I went to see my friends in the village market, where we usually meet, and only after having a long chat did I return home. It was around 9:30 PM when I had my dinner, and only after spending some time on social media and scrolling through reels on Instagram, I went to sleep at around 11:30 PM and called it a day.
Thank you for going through my post. Have a great time ahead.
