The Diary game. A Rainy Morning, Responsibilities, and Reflections: A Day in Service and Devotion

in Hindwhale Community4 days ago

Greetings, dear friends, how are you all? I hope you all are fine and enjoying your day. I wish for you all good health, wealth and a prosperous time ahead. Today I am here to share with you yet another day of my life and I hope you all will get time to read and know about one more day of my life and also find it worthwhile to read and vote.

Got up quite early in the morning. I have a good habit of rising early, and today it was raining. I was hesitant to get up, but still, due to the compulsions I have as far as my responsibilities are concerned, I couldn’t stay in bed for long and kicked myself out to purify myself for the morning prayers. Soon after performing ablution, I went to the nearby mosque for the morning prayer, which is just a stone’s throw from my house. I got there, offered my prayers, and then made supplications. It all took more than an hour, and this part of the day remains the most precious to me, as it helps me establish a connection with the Divine and carry with me some vibes of positivity and peace.

After I was done with prayer, I went back to my place. Today I couldn’t do any sort of gardening, but I placed different tools in their appropriate places and then got inside to do some physical exercises. Physical exercise is a part of my life because having a high-calorie intake lifestyle could lead to health hazards in the future. So, to be on the safer side as far as health is concerned, I usually try to burn as many calories as I can and only feel content after breaking a sweat.

After I was done with my exercises, I took some rest and let the sweat dry up, after which I took a bath. After finishing all these activities, I had my breakfast together with my parents, who were already waiting in the dining room for me to return and join them. Quickly after having my breakfast, I got ready for the office. Today I couldn’t delay my departure because I had to attend an important training session conducted by the district administration to impart training regarding the Panchayat Advancement Index. This is a newly generated portal where we can upload information regarding different parameters in respect to the villages. This portal will actually reflect where the village lacks, where more funds are needed, and where the most attention has to be paid.

It is an important portal that needs to be run by the field functionaries, and we, being the officials, are directly or indirectly responsible for making the information available to be fed into the portal. My colleagues had already reached there, and I was a little later than others, but still on time. We attended the training session with patience, and it was quite interesting to learn how the portal works and how we could help the villages develop and focus on key areas where they might be lagging.

The portal has been developed in collaboration with NITI Aayog, which is the key planning department of the central government and plays a major role in making India a developed country. We paid attention during the session, and good refreshments were also provided to keep the officials engaged. Fortunately for us, the trainer conducting the session was one of our colleagues posted in a different block, and it was quite easy for us to clear doubts and ask questions whenever needed.

Later, at around 2 PM, I left the session and headed towards my office, which is located just about 500 meters to 1 kilometer from the training centre. Upon reaching there, I resumed my work of making payments for the labourers involved in various developmental works going on across different villages in the block. At around 4 PM, I left the office and headed straight to my place. Upon reaching there, I had some tea, and after helping my mom in the kitchen, I took a nap to refresh myself and regain some energy. At around 9:30 PM, we had dinner, and at around 11:30 PM, I retired to sleep and called it a day.

It was all about my day.Thank you for going through my post. Have a great time ahead.
