The Diary game. “A Day Rooted in Routine and Nature”
Greetings, dear friends, how are you all? I hope you all are fine and enjoying your day. I wish for you all good health, wealth and a prosperous time ahead. Today I am here to share with you yet another day of my life and I hope you all will get time to read and know about one more day of my life and also find it worthwhile to read and vote.
I got up very early in the morning, as I have a good habit of rising early. The birds living in the vicinity started chirping at the open end of my room, and since the weather is hot these days, the windows remain open to let in some cool breeze throughout the night. I got up and purified myself for the morning prayers, then went to the nearby mosque to offer them and start my day with peace and positivity.
After I was done with all my supplications and paying gratitude to the Almighty, I headed back to my place to do some gardening. I’ve been quite enthusiastic about the aesthetics of my home, so I usually spend a good amount of time early in the morning, while I’m still fresh, to do some gardening patiently and place different pots in their appropriate spots. I watered the lawn and then looked for any weeds that needed to be removed. Since I do it quite often, the chances of weed growth are now very little.
Once I was done with the gardening, I did some exercise to help myself burn some calories, which can otherwise prove hazardous. People in this valley have a complicated lifestyle, consuming a lot of calories in their everyday life, so they need to be burned regularly. I did a round of exercises and was only satisfied when I was drenched in sweat. After taking some rest and drying off, I took a bath and then joined my parents for breakfast.
It was around 9:30 AM when I got ready for the office and left. It takes me only 15 to 20 minutes to reach there. The task for the day was opening bids that different contractors had filed throughout the last week to win the contract for solid waste collection and its management. It was quite a time-consuming job because we needed to wait for all the contractors and some third parties to join. All these proceedings needed to be recorded, and for that, one of the office employees was assigned the task. One of my colleagues was responsible for videography to ensure that all processes were conducted in a fair environment.
The entire process took the whole day, and we left the office at around 4:10 PM. A few of my colleagues accompanied me to Srinagar, where we were heading to have some typical Kashmiri cuisine, Wazwan. We had to wait for our food as there was no space left for more customers and the kitchen had already received a large number of orders. We were quite late in placing our order, but the hunger made the wait worth it.
Later, when we were just about to leave, unfortunately, our car was blocked at the back end of the parking lot. A few more cars were parked in front of it, and there was no space for us to get out. We had to search for the car owners first, and only after that were we able to leave. On our way back, we decided to have some tea at one of our favourite dhabas. After traveling for about an hour and a half, I reached home.
Upon reaching, I first took a nap to refresh myself. After regaining some energy, I headed towards one of our orchards. I needed to have a cursory look at the fruits growing to make sure no pests were affecting the crop. I enjoy being out in the orchards late in the evening, as the cool breeze is always so pleasing and enjoyable. Later, at around 10:30 PM, we had our dinner, and only by around 11:30 PM, I went to sleep and called it a day.
It was all about my day.Thank you for going through my post. Have a great time ahead.
