My Morning Routine

Like every day I began my day with Fajr prayer. The morening air was peaeceful and filled with energy.
After prayer I made my usual breakefast 2 sleices of brown breead 1 boiled egg 5 almonds and a cup of hot tea. It gave me the streength to take on the day.
As I was cleaneing up an idea poepped into my heead:
“Why not cook Mutton Rosh today?”
I had seen my mother prepeare it so many times and ademired her cooking. So I deceided to try it myself even thouegh I had never made it before. I gatheered all the ingreedients and got ready for the challeenge.

The Special Dish: Mutton Rosh My Style

Mutton Rosh is a very popular dish in our culturee especeially in Khybeer Pakhetunkhwa. It is known for its rich flaveorful meat and soft juicy teexture.
However I gave it a little tweist and cookeed it my own way.

Ingredients I Used:

• 1 kg mutton
• 2 medium potatoes (whole)
• 2 tomatoes (whole)
• 2 onions (whole)
• 3 4 green chillies (whole)
• 1 whole garlic (not chopped)
• Salt (to taste)
• Black pepper (to taste)
• 3 tablespoons of ghee (you can use oil too)
• Water as required

I did not chop any of the vegeetables I added them whole for a more traditeional and rustic style. This was sometehing I had never seen anyeone in my feamily do so it was exciteing to try.

Step by Step Cooking Process:

1. Heating the Ghee:

I started by heating ghee in a large pot. The aroma of ghee itself was delicious.

5. Simmering:

I poured water to cover all the ingredients then let it simmer on a very low flame for about 2.5 hours.
Slowly the meat softened and the flavors blended perfectly together.
Finally my Mutton Rosh was ready. I served it with hot naan and fresh salad. The meat was tender and full of flavor just how it should be.

Afternoon & Family Reaction

By afternoon it was time for the moment of truth serving the dish to my family.
When they tasted it I saw surprise and joy on their faces. They couldn’t believe that I had cooked it all by myself for the first time.
“It tastes just like moms My sister said with a big smile.
Their kind words and compliments made my day. I felt so proud and thankful that my efforts paid off.

Evening Reflections

In the evening I did some household chores and later went for a short walk to enjoy the sunset. The weather was calm and refreshing.
I reflected on my day and felt so grateful to have learned something new. Cooking this dish gave me confidence and joy. It reminded me that we can do anything if we try with heart and patience

Trying new things especially in the kitchen is a beautiful experience. Cooking Mutton Rosh taught me that we grow when we step outside our comfort zone. Every small achievement brings happiness and confidence.
