The Diary Game:10|04|2025: Learning how to create 3D logo using CorelDraw and attending to client

Greetings to all, dear Steemians,
Welcome once again to my daily diary.

Today was another day of learning, challenges, and small victories. I woke up early, full of energy and a determination to make the day productive. My main goal for today was to learn how to create a 3D logo using CorelDRAW, something I have always admired in other designers’ work. I knew it wouldn’t be easy, but I was ready to take it one step at a time.

After a short morning devotion and some stretching, I cleaned my surroundings to keep everything neat and fresh. Then, I prepared for work, dressed neatly, and gathered everything I needed for the day. By 9:30 AM, I left for work.

The Client that was waiting for me

When I arrived at the office, I saw a client already waiting for me. He came for an online registration, so I quickly set up the system and began the process. Unfortunately, there was a small setback; his WAEC details caused issues during the registration, so we couldn’t complete it. The client decided to return later, and I moved on to my plan for the day.

The 3D Battle

Now came the real challenge: creating a 3D logo. I launched CorelDRAW, picked up my tools, and started experimenting. At first, it was a bit confusing. I tried several times, undoing and redoing, to get the right shape and depth. I used the Eclipse Tool to create the basic design and then carefully trimmed off unwanted parts to give it a unique shape.

Design in process

Next, I played with colors, mixing shades and highlights using the Smart Fill Tool and Interactive Tool. I wanted the logo to look realistic, with a clean and professional 3D effect.

There were moments when I almost gave up, but I reminded myself that every expert was once a beginner. After several trials and adjustments, I finally achieved the look I wanted. Seeing my first 3D logo design come to life felt so rewarding; it gave me a strong sense of accomplishment.

Finally Done

By evening, I started to feel tired and hungry, so I took a short break. I grabbed a snack and a drink, then relaxed for a while to refresh my mind. The cool evening breeze helped me unwind as I reviewed the work I had done during the day.

As I reflected, I realized how powerful patience, practice, and persistence can be. Every challenge I faced today was another step toward growth. Even though not everything went smoothly, I’m glad I learned something new—both in skill and mindset.

In conclusion, today was a productive and inspiring day. I not only made progress in my design journey but also strengthened my confidence in handling tough tasks. Tomorrow, I plan to keep improving my 3D design skills and maybe explore how to add shadows and lighting effects to make my logos even more realistic. Every new day is another opportunity to grow, and I’m grateful for that.
