The Diary Game: One Good Turn Deserves Another(16-09-2025)

Hi, I'm Blessing Isong known here on Steemit as @blezisong. I am a newcomer on the platform and in my blog today, I'll be sharing my activities of the day. I woke up late this morning, I had purposely stayed on bed so the rain could subside. I got up and did some chores at home and I received a call from my friend saying he's not fine we'll so I suspended everything I did at hand and went to my friend's place to check on him. He did that when I was sick so one good turn deserves another.

We had out of fuel and branched the fuel station to have a refill, the queue was much but it seems the driver was their VIP customer because of their interaction when he got there so he was asked to be patient as he would be attended to immediately they're done with the one at hand. Deep down I was praying they keep to their words, we bought the fuel and continued our journey. I got to my friend's home and found him lying helplessly on the floor, he had ulcer pains. I checked for his drugs and gave it to him and he was relieved in some hours, I wish there's a cure for it.

I stayed till afternoon and even assisted in preparing lunch for him, he wanted to eat beans so I prepared it for him. Luckily all the items I needed were at home so I didn't stress in going out to buy anything. I joined I'm having lunch when it was ready and also took a short sleep before heading back home in the late afternoon when I woke up. By this time, my friend was very okay and was able to go about his daily activities.

I alighted at our junction and bought bathing soup and toothbrush before reaching home, I had no bathing soap at home and needed a change of brush because the one I have is due for change. On getting home, I continued from where I stopped in the morning. I was all out to clean my house and also washed the toilet using hypo toilet cleaner and some other toilet wash. When I was done, I prepared dinner, had my bath and went to church. The program was supposed to be an hour plus something but how I stayed in church till 8pm is what I don't understand.

I returned home some moments ago and realized its damn late and I had planned to be coming early with my post these days but it's better late than never right? I'll call my friend after now to know how he's doing before I hug my pillow and have a good night rest. It's nice having you read my diary, I do not take it for granted.
