HWC Contest #156 || POWER UP & WIN Week 85 by @bisdako (20 STEEM)
I started from zero and was having second thoughts about pursuing. It was so frustrating at first since movement was so limited due to insufficient power. Yet now I am talking about power-up, as if I have a lot in my wallet, just kidding!

By the way, this is already my third time powering up. Honestly, with every single Steem payout in my wallet, I get super excited, I can't even wait, just go ahead and power it up right away. I remember my very first power up was 3 steem lent to me by my friend @kyrie1234 so that I could do some posts (thank you again). The second time was my payout, also 3 steem, and today I will go power up 20 more steem. I've earned some of it from winning contests. It might seem small to some, but for me, it's a big deal already. Every single steem that adds up feels so rewarding. Now I am into investing in something meaningful. It's like giving myself a path on my shoulder, “Hey, this is your reward for trying, for doing something that you love… writing."

In my weeks of steeming, though I just wrote a few, and some got support while others didn’t, I already feel a deep connection and growth. What makes it more sensible is the upvotes that I received from the curators. Though I earn a little, I'm still happy to see whatever number it is. The fact that it is supported is already uplifting, it keeps me motivated to keep going.

Real talk, there is no easy money here. You don’t just sit and relax. If you want to grow your account, you have to take some of your time. Challenge yourself to learn how to improve your posts. Read a lot so you can learn from others, too. Thoughts should be expressed clearly. Take time to study the proper markdowns and create content that reflects who you are. That's how the curators notice you. It takes consistency and dedication. Most importantly, you have something to do… power up!

So here I am powering up again, not just with Steem but with hope and excitement.
My goal now is to grow my account. Slowly build my presence in different communities through engagement. In God's will, if I am blessed to receive upvotes and payouts, expect that I will do more powering up and turning it into a consistent habit. I know that nothing is guaranteed here, some of your posts will receive an upvote and others will not, success doesn't come overnight, but I have a positive view of this process as my investment. Saving what I earned through power-ups is like planting a seed for the future. Of course, nobody knows what lies ahead, but still, I'm hopeful and motivated to keep going.
I am inviting @cruzamilcar63, @jes88, and @tonyoi23 to join this contest.
Congratulations on your power up and thanks for the invite in powering up!
