Today I'm happy to take part in HWC Contest #147|| POWERUP & WIN WEEK 82 an amazing contest organized by @jyoti-thelight from @HindWhale Community. As a firm believer in the power of consistency and progress on Steemit, I can't wait to power up my STEEM and share my experience all the way with this initiative. Here I am again this week ready to do my part, to be all in, and to urge others to do the same. Let’s grow together, build up our accounts and keep the Steem blockchain in tip-top shape!

Out of the total 104.561 Steem in my account, I powered down 100 Steem (almost 97% of earnings), as per my weekly Steemit plan. I think consistent power ups can add to the platform and are not only good for our individual presence on the platform but is great for continual growth of Steemit.

You must submit a thorough, screenshot description of how you did it to be eligible.

To boost my Steem this week, I did the following:

✅ I pressed the wallet button at the top and then signed-in to the wallet interface with my Steemit name.

✅Logged in, I scrolled to see what my total balance looked like in the “Steem” section. I hit “Power Up” after this to start the power-up process.

✅An additional interface came up and I was asked to input the Steem I wished to power up.

✅I entered the number I wanted with “OK” and everything was cool.

✅Now the system prompted to enter my Active Key to approve it. Once I gave the key, it was a matter of seconds and it was done.

✅My Steem was powered up and transferred and allows me to further upvote and interact with the community.

Performing a power-up for me is one of the best ways to grow steadily on steemit. It not only grows my Steem Power that determines my voting, and curation rewards, but also extends my dedication towards the community platform in general. I feel that by doing this power up it will help me to better support others, participate in more initiatives, and have a more recognized presence here. It makes me feel useful and secure to be helping the platform that I’m on to grow, and to be doing so while solidifying my own place on it.
