The most annoying time while living in a mess is when the cook doesn't come and the dining is off. I was supposed to go shopping from today. I was waiting for my cook to come to our flat since morning but even after 10 am, the cook didn't come. I called and found out that the cook is sick and won't come today. This news is not good for bachelors.

I went to my room with a cup of tea and turned on my PC and was drinking tea. I worked on Steemit for some time on my PC. Other members of our flat were coming to me and they wanted to know what we would cook for lunch. I sent the junior of the flat, Supta, to the market and asked him to bring lentils and eggs.

Our most annoying task today is cleaning the dirty dishes. Shahin is cleaning all the dirty dishes in our kitchen before we take a shower in the afternoon. I am preparing to cook by chopping onions, peppers, and other spices. We will make thick lentil dal with fried egg and potato stew today at noon. We first boiled rice and potatoes for cooking.

I boiled lentil dal in a pressure cooker. I added some chillies, onions and salt to the dal. I will wait until it gives two whistles. When we finished cooking, we fried eggs before we all sat down to eat together. We all ate together.

I went to Suihari in the afternoon and I had to eat something. I came to a fruit shop and bought bananas from here and ate them. I spent the evening outside and returned home. Our thoughts today are again about dinner. We will eat 7 people at night but we are three in the flat and Asif's semester final exam is on the 9th. That's why there are two of us for cooking. This seems like a difficult task in bachelor's life now. Cooking for hobby is one thing and cooking with responsibility is another thing now. At night too, we started cooking by planning to fry a vegetable and an egg. Today I cooked vegetables which had less salt in them but I didn't feel bad eating them by sprinkling a little salt while eating. Today I had a very boring day with this cooking. The most boring part is cleaning the dirty dishes while cooking.
