DIVINE ASSISTANCE
Every human being needs some kind of assistance. It is only Almighty God, the Creator of heaven and earth who doesn't need assistance at all. Of all sorts of assistance man may get, the one from the Lord is the greatest. Whenever the Lord asks someone to partner with Him on any of His works, He is trying to bless the person. When the Lord Jesus asked to use Peter's boat to preach at the lake of Gennesaret, He did so in the light of the fact that He wanted to make Peter a famous fisher of men, not because He would not have been able to preach without it.
Jesus Christ who walked on the sea to meet His disciples could have done the same thing to preach if He had needed to. Anyone looking up to himself, herself, or another fellow for help will surely be disappointed. As great a prophet as Elijah was, he still needed assistance from above. Neither the prophet nor the widow had anything to do with the arrangement; it was divinely arranged, yet they both cooperated with the Almighty God to receive His divine will.
When the Almighty God wants to bless your work, you don't need to preach long sermons to try to convince people to give. The Lord can use human beings to help you. When He wants to do that, the person loses his or her peace as long as he or she doesn't act in your favor by the leading of the Holy Ghost.
Put all your hope in the Lord and seek Him alone for assistance today. He is a faithful God and will never disappoint those who are seriously seeking Him.
