SLC23-W3 | Nutrition labels

Hello friends! You all are welcome on this learning challenge; I wish you well.

Have you ever been interested in checking the labels or ingredients of the products you buy? Did you know their importance or did you know how to interpret them? Explain your answer

Yes, We check label to know the nutritional content, to be sure of the expiring date, To know about the other food substances that were added, to know if the food is produced according to standards, to know their health benefits, to know the raw material or natural food that was used to produce it and for quality control and assurance.

Share 2 images where we can see a processed product and an ultra-processed one and explain why you classify them that way.

The reason for this classification is based on the degree of processing of the food.
Processed foods are foods that are added some additives and other substances to improve on some of their qualities and characteristics,
WHILE Ultra-processed foods are products that have been changed from their natural state entirely by some given processing methods.

Soft drinks are unhealthy because they do not contain any natural ingredients or raw food material. They are mostly a mixture of artificial flavourings and preservatives with no nutritional value.
